Bro, he’s going to be out for weeks. Wishful thinking.

If only Frank would’ve kept him on the bench for 1 minute longer of rest after the first quarter.

Yuta not the Shoota.
Like his hustle but man...this guy hasn't done jack this season. Watched the dude blow a layup and airball a wide open three. His minutes just haven't been very effective. I think Metu could bring more to the table right now.

No more Yuta for a while plz.

I'm curious, is there something about the way Duane Rankin starts every one of his questions that drives anyone else crazy?

Seems to me that most questions are curious. Probably not necessary to say each time. Then he always ends it with, “that’s all I got for you.”

I winced when I saw the slow mo of Booker turning his ankle. I’ve turned my ankles many times in my lifetime and that looked pretty bad to me. My wife taught me a lot about healing sprains. She puts a doughnut shaped thing over the ankle bone and wraps it to help get the fluid out. Then she makes me do figure eights with my ankle. It works.

Welp, Booker out for awhile. Time to rotate heavy minutes into Durant while Beal is out for another 3 months with bulging disc. By the time Booker comes back, Durant will have an injury from carrying the team on his back.

I've mostly been tongue in cheek with my comments around the Big 3 health but this is starting to pain me.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Feels like Book will miss the next few games. I'd suspect at least the Denver game and the Memphis game, then maybe he tries for Tuesday since it's a tourney game and it'd be 4-5 days off.

I didn't get to watch the first half. If Booker's ankle injury was in the 3rd quarter, then why was he shooting so horribly before that? Was there something else bothering him or just a bad shooting night?

Yes, length, doubles, and physical play allowed by the refs, imo. Outside of that, he just hasn't looked right since the Knicks game.

I went Christmas shopping with my kids last night. I spent too much money but missed the game, so it all worked out.

You were better off. It was frustrating.

Durant is averaging the second highest PPG of his career and is tied for the most FGA per game of his career. He's also averaging almost 37 mpg.

I don't know whether to be more impressed or terrified.

Yes, it was a very frustrating game and uphill battle from the start. It was amazing that we even had a shot to tie it late. Just got to flush it as one of those lulls after the seven game streak. Just didn't have the energy last night. At least I didn't spend any money. ;) :P

If it was just a bad lost game we could deal with that. Take the loss and move on to the next game. But having Booker get hurt just makes it that much worse. For the life of me I can't understand why he wasn't kept out after he turned his ankle. Playing more had to have aggravated it and made the injury worse. It just wasn't worth it.
