Good article from the players' perspective. Too bad his owner is sabotaging him and his teammates.

It reeks of "tilt".

Lack of talent problem : Losing-> "Ok I/we need to improve in those areas" -> improvement(good improvement) -> but still losing -> motivation/need to win is burning "What can i do more/differently?" -> eventually players start to do things they are not good at cause they think that is what needs to be done -> absolute lack of confidence (little voice in the head, "You cant do this, you are not as good as the other players") -> doubt/2nd guessing/bad habits

They all can be reversed when teams talent pool rises and competent people are making higher level decisions . That circle is not an inherent disadvantage, long term being through that, gives newfound confidence when things improve and new lows are shallower lows.

Still in basketball you will need to go from losing to winning. Which is easier said than done.

I'd never call her an idiot. However, the legacy of the team is important. If the players all quit & began their own league who would watch for more than just curiousity for the experiment? I'm a Suns fan. Nash is my favorite player ever but I can count the number of Lakers games I watched on League Pass over the last two years on one hand. Mrs. Roberts doesn't seem to understand that. Or she does and she's already beginning the media war and doesn't really believe half the stuff she's saying.

The Sixers actually got a point out of that under CBA rules.

If you know what I'm talking about, congratulations, you're old.

G.S. is in the process of blowing another lead. Were up 14 with 6 to go and it's down to 5.

I just don't see Kieff as a starting PF that will get us anywhere. He's putting up OK numbers but he's still somewhat inconsistent. Maybe if we had a really dominant center that played down low he'd look better (like a DHow, Drummondd type) but we don't.
Markieff would be perfect next to Drummond.
His stock is falling... What could we do to get him?

My man Pau Gasol performed well against the Raptors tonight.

27pts, 11rebs, 3blks.

Damn, I wish the Suns got him during the offseason.

Off the beaten path a bit...

A powerful read about how Monty Williams helped Ryan Anderson go through an extremely difficult loss.

Don't think he is at all available. I think the Pistons love Drummond and consider him their cornerstone of the future. He's only 21 and is still improving. Zack Lowe of Grantland did a nice article on him here:

It was so powerful to read the article. It’s nice to know that Coach Williams was there for Ryan Anderson after an extremely difficult loss and took him to his home.

Coach Williams’ wife said right thing. “She knew not to say it was going to be O.K., because it wasn’t. This is going to be hard for a long time.”

I just lost my eldest sister in March last year. Even though she suffered for kidney and heart trouble for almost 20 years. It doesn’t matter how they died. It is never going to be O.K. when you lose one of the dearest one.
