Good article from the players' perspective. Too bad his owner is sabotaging him and his teammates.Beetlejuice wrote:Good read : http://www.theplayerstribune.com/michae ... t-tanking/
I'd never call her an idiot. However, the legacy of the team is important. If the players all quit & began their own league who would watch for more than just curiousity for the experiment? I'm a Suns fan. Nash is my favorite player ever but I can count the number of Lakers games I watched on League Pass over the last two years on one hand. Mrs. Roberts doesn't seem to understand that. Or she does and she's already beginning the media war and doesn't really believe half the stuff she's saying.INFORMER wrote: Someone needs to get it through to the players that the stardom and success they enjoy isn't solely a byproduct of their talent.

His stock is falling... What could we do to get him?INFORMER wrote:Markieff would be perfect next to Drummond.ShelC wrote:My intention for putting that trade scenario out there was to get out from the Morris Bros deals. They're nice players, but role players better suited for the bench. I just don't see Kieff as a starting PF that will get us anywhere. He's putting up OK numbers but he's still somewhat inconsistent. Maybe if we had a really dominant center that played down low he'd look better (like a DHow, Drummondd type) but we don't.
I thought I was old now. Guess not.Cap wrote:The Sixers actually got a point out of that under CBA rules.
If you know what I'm talking about, congratulations, you're old.

27pts, 11rebs, 3blks.
Damn, I wish the Suns got him during the offseason.
Don't think he is at all available. I think the Pistons love Drummond and consider him their cornerstone of the future. He's only 21 and is still improving. Zack Lowe of Grantland did a nice article on him here:Indy wrote:His stock is falling... What could we do to get him?INFORMER wrote:Markieff would be perfect next to Drummond.

It was so powerful to read the article. It’s nice to know that Coach Williams was there for Ryan Anderson after an extremely difficult loss and took him to his home.LazarusLong wrote:Off the beaten path a bit...
A powerful read about how Monty Williams helped Ryan Anderson go through an extremely difficult loss.
