I don't think that bodes well for playing with Mark Williams. But yeah, him and Sengun had some compatibility issues. Green's best stretch of basketball was in 2024 when Sengun went down for the season. A lot of the talk here was that he finally arrived, and maybe you need to look at moving Sengun. But after a blistering March, Green fell apart apart in April. So questions persisted. But the front office showed their true feelings when Sengun landed a bigger contract than Green. Then in 24-25, the team success overshadowed all of the advanced stats that indicated the team was better when Green was off the floor, but all that was exposed versus the Warriors.TOO wrote: ↑Thu Jul 03, 2025 11:15 amThis is probably a bigger deal than people realize. He's never had any help, the best offensive player he's played with is who, Sengun? He's not taking any attention away from Green, and he also clogs the lane, having Booker be the main focus should really allow him some offensive freedoms he's never had.

The Rockets basically did it with John Wall.TOO wrote: ↑Thu Jul 03, 2025 10:03 pmPlayers association won't let that happen.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Jul 03, 2025 9:53 pmJust tell Brad to stay home for the year if he's not going to waive his NTC to a team willing to trade for him.
Revisit it next offseason when he's an expiring

My hope is that we flip Royce and Allen for draft capital and a younger guard
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Grayson Allen in particular needs to go IMO.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I think the hope for green is you take away his in between game. I know that highlight video showed him hitting a lot of mid range pull-ups, but he’s pretty awful at those shots generally. Think I heard he shot 36% on them last year. That’s abysmal.
He won’t be asked to create as much offense for himself and out of PNR alongside Booker. He has decent catch and shoot numbers and does get to the rim. I’d just love to shift more of his offense to off ball shooting, cutting, attacking closeouts…or 2nd side pnr. Increase the 3s and rim attempts and drop the mid range shots. Not sure if it’ll happen, but that’s the vision I think.

Which is also concerning. There are several players they need to get rid of (waive or trade).
You can carry up to 21 players in the offseason.

They’ve got time…I get impatient too as a fan, but rushing into things has been one of our issues, so I’m fine that they are taking their time.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
If the Lakers want Wiggins(which is kind of hilarious), I think a 3-way deal with us, LA, and Miami could get us off Beal and get us under the 2nd apron with less dead cap.
Beal to Miami(plus whatever draft capital LA gives them)
Wiggins to LA
Rozier, Vincent, Vanderbilt to Phoenix.
We waive and stretch Rozier and take the 8.8 million dollar hit for 3 years. We’d be just over 200 million in salary. Under the 2nd apron, but above the tax. Dumping Richards and one of Royce, Vincent, or Vanderbilt elsewhere could get us all the way under the tax at that point, but we’d have all year to do that.

Nice video but that narrator made me feel like I was back in elementary school watching a nature film documentary.

I feel the same way. Especially if Beal is being bought out.

Grayson does not need to go. He had a down year, but I'd be happy to have him back. Now, I do think he can bring the Suns something valuable In a trade, and if thay happens, good riddance. However, under no circumstance is he a "must go.". He at.least.tried last season. I'd rather see royce gone in a trade.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
We’re calling it a down year, but Grayson still shot 43% from 3
