2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)

I have a bad feeling that the Spurs are going to get Isaac and turn him into a stud.

It could be Isaac. I think it's Fox though. BTW, I know Isaac didn't drive much to the hoop or handle the ball, but he was a pg early in high school prior to a big growth spurt. Also, looking at his hs work, he took people off the dribble, so he can do it. Could have been held back a bit at FSU.

Didn't they basically split the minutes equally among everyone there?

Is it bad that I want us to take Fox so we can finally get rid of Bledsoe? Also, if Porzingis is available for Chris's and our 4th according to the NY paper, why haven't we pulled the trigger on that?

Thanks for the link. I still like his fit next to Booker a lot. Of course, everyone sounds good at draft time, but this is a big defender who can play at his spot now and grow into a bigger role as he matures. Obvs, I wouldn't take him with the 4, but I would be happy to get him + something.

I'd have no problem taking Ntilikina at #4.

What if we have no intention of trading Bledsoe?

I would hate to allow Bledsoe's presence to influence how the Suns drafted. I'm generally against passing on guys because of a player on the roster that doesn't move the needle.

Semi scares me as the wrong kind of tweener. Seems like an undersized college 4 without the real perimeter skills to play both positions. Undersized for the NBA 4, not skilled enough for the NBA 3. Teams looking for the next Draymond will make a mistake with players like this.

Where is this Draymond Green stuff coming from? I don't think he is anything like Draymond.

I think it's a bit of the undersized 4 with some outside shooting skills that people make the leap to Draymond.

That, I'm unaware of. Interesting if that's the case. Not hugely impressed with Leonard Hamilton's coaching. Not a hater, but not a fan either.

I can agree with that all day long. I like Bledsoe and think he's the best player on the Suns, but I'm convinced that he needs to be moved today or tomorrow. Got to give you credit INF, you were on this train way way early.

SAC is a bit of a wildcard, but I think they really want fox.

I'm really curious to hear your favorites at pick 4, INF. Particularly, Tatum vs. Isaac.

There is something to like and dislike about both.

Tatum is a shot-maker, but I worry about what else he can bring to the table at the pro level. I question his toughness.

Issac looks more like a novelty than a legit prospect. He has above average handle, seems to have good awareness on the offensive end, but I have doubts that it will ever add up to anything substantial at the pro level.

I wouldn't be upset with either, but I can't say either one moves the needle for me.

I think Josh Jackson is the superior talent to both of them, but his character issues and being from Kansas scare me.
