I think it'll have to be Booker to Houston; that's who they really want. So give them Booker for all the 1sts, plus hold out for at least one young blue chipper, don't just accept meh players like Jalen Green.
KD will probably net us a disappointing return, but shop him to OKC, GSW, SAS, anybody. Prioritize picks.
Grayson Allen to some white-boy-loving place like Utah. They should give us two 1sts for a white boy of his caliber, right? Or ORL, they really need a guy like him.
I was gonna say almost the exact same thing. I love Booker, but it's probably time to cash out on him. He seems fed up too, so maybe he quietly asks out. Send him to Houston and get all of our picks, and maybe others back, along with Reed Shephard. I doubt they'd give up Amen, but I'd try that first. Dill Brooks would have to go just to make salaries work. But something like Brooks, Shephard/Amen and Jabari Smith along with all of our picks back works.
We won't get back as much as we sent out for KD, but I think a combo of 2 firsts, a swap and a few young players isn't out of the question. It would be amazing if we could get Castle from the Spurs in return, along with Keldon Johnson or Vassell.

Would we entertain sending KD to Dallas for package like PJ Washington, Lively, Gafford and picks?

Absolutely, but there would need to be other salary filler to make it work. Caleb Martin or Naji Marshall would have to in included, unless we took back Klay, which is pointless.

My off-season plans are to watch the Diamondbacks.
As for the Suns, I'd rather read a book about differential equations than to second guess how management solves the mess.

I don't start from scratch. I keep Book. Coaching staff fired. Find a fiery up and comer not afraid to challenge his stars. Everybody else other than Dunn can go. Stuck with Beal unless we find a destination he'll accept. Get some defensive athletes in here. If choice between O'Neale and Allen, I keep O'Neale. At least he plays decent defense and is less injury prone.

Ok, let’s say you have two options:
Trade KD for that Dallas offer from the ESPN article: Lively/PJ/Klay/Marshall and 2 1sts, but you’re stuck with Beal….
Or..
You trade Beal to Orlando for KCP/Isaac/WCJ, and KD stays…
Book/Beal/Marshall/PJ/Lively
Or
Book/KCP/KD/Isaac/WCJ

It’s funny how there are 7 pages that have nothing to do with Vladimir’s original intent for this thread.

That's what you get for vague titles.

Better than 150 pages of us whining about a former #1 pick

Ok, here’s my next fever dream that wins us the title next year.
We trade KD to Houston for 2025(we draft Asa Newell), 2027, Dillon Brooks, Jabari Smith Jr, and Reed Sheppard.
Philly decides they need don’t think Embiid will ever be healthy again, so trying to get off his contract they ship him to us for Bradley Beal.
Reed Sheppard has a sophomore breakout and looks like a great value Steph(14/6 on 40%+ shooting from deep), Jabari Smith also puts it together, bumping up to 38% from 3 and being able to defend across the board with his 6’11 frame. Dillon Brooks and Ryan Dunn both provide high level defense with acceptable shooting.
The big win though is Embiid sits until April, but comes back looking like his MVP self…
Sheppard/Gillespie
Booker/Allen
Brooks/Dunn
Smith Jr/Newell
Embiid/Richards
Though I’d love to make a Dillon Brooks trade still, so we don’t have to cheer for him.

Sits until April, comes back at MVP level, wins championship… has anything like that ever been done?

You think KD is hard to root for, imagine watching Embiid just crying on the floor for 28 min a game 44 games a season. Fuck that.

Devin Booker will win a title before Embiid does.
