The most interesting thing I learned from the Haynes podcast is that Bol Bol was taken out of the rotation after the Plumlee/Adams confrontation because Bud was irate that Bol stayed away from the fracas, didn’t try to defend his teammate, and just started shooting layups away from the action. Makes sense with how he couldn’t even make it into the last game of the season when everybody else on the roster played.
By far and away my least favorite Sun ever due to his contract compared to play and attitude
Let everyone be reminded that I was a day one hater (a massive hater) of this trade.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
Trading for Marcus Smart, who I like a lot but don't want, would be the exact surface level move Ishbia would make to show he's serious about getting toughness, defense and grit.
Does he have a less-talented brother by chance? Maxwell Smart??

A less smart Smart?
Max Smart wanted to be a basketball player, but every time he shot he missed it by *that* much.
There are some interesting player comments about the Suns in this annual anonymous NBA player survey. For example, they rated Mike Budenholzer as one of the league's worst coaches, while not really ranking the Suns as one of the league's worst orgs. Maybe the positives like being willing to spend on salaries and facilities and media and upgrades are positive enough that players overlook the unfortunate and disappointing results we've had.
