That’s fair…I don’t really like Embiid either…I was just trying to come up with the most plausibile miracle leading to a title…I thought about a Kyrie trade too…maybe a Zion trade, followed by him getting super in shape and staying healthy…

Hmm, good point, Simmons spends all summer getting in shape and working on his shot…signs for the vet min and becomes a 20/10/10 pg that defends 1-5 at an elite level and shoots 35% from 3 and 75% from the line
Can we get Josh Giddey and Draymond Green too? Maybe Kevin Porter Jr.?
“Are you crazy?! You think I’m going to go for seven years and try to get there? You enjoy the 2030 draft picks that we have holding? I want to try to see the game today.” — Ish 3/13/25
Saying Beal is holding them hostage is an idiotic statement. They willingly overpaid for a player for a position they already had filled by an All-Star, and they knew Beal has a no-trade clause and a history of injuries. That isn't Beal pulling a fast one on anybody, that's just bad decision-making by the Suns' front office.

Zero percent chance Beal is back? Uh, are they saying they are going to attach picks and assets to get rid of him? What picks, exactly? What assets? I don't really want Beal here, but I certainly don't think we can afford to use any of our very few minimal assets to be rid of him. And we can't even get rid of him if we want to, unless he approves the trade, which he has already said he doesn't want to do. So, uh, yeah, there is a pretty big chance Bradley Beal is back in a Suns uniform next season.
The Athletic has a "Trade Booker" article this morning. It's pretty scathing in its assessment of the impatience of the Suns' front office the last couple of years.

I'm absolutely against attaching Dunn or Oso to move Beal. That's compounding a terrible decision with another terrible decision and getting rid of the two kinds of players we need on this roster and can't afford to lose due to our lack of future picks. You have to move KD first and get back as many picks as you can and try and use those to move off Beal. If all else fails, you bite the bullet and work on a buyout/stretch scenario. He can't be back on the roster and if Ishbia needs to eat that $100mil, so be it. It'll be a lesson learned.
I’d try and trade him to whoever will take him for nothing(I have my doubts we can find a partner)…if Beal says no, I’d let him know he’s not playing and he can go sit at home for 2 years. He’ll say yes. I really don’t think he’s going to say no…he looks miserable here.
I would not attach assets to him unless we are getting real basketball players back. No one will be knocking down our door to trade for him, especially not to start the summer, but I could see later in the summer if a team struck out on who they really wanted. I think a midseason trade is even more likely. At that point it’s basically just 1 more year.
I don’t like the buyout and stretch option at all unless he forks over a ton of money. We owe him 110 million over 2 years. If he’d take 75-80 I might consider it.

I read the booker part…my biggest gripe with it is he says there’s no way to get 2026 back. I think there is and it would absolutely be my first move before making a Booker trade. I think it’s really dumb to blow it up this summer knowing we don’t have our pick. Booker won’t lose his value in 1 year. Trade KD for the best haul you can get and see what happens in 2026. If there’s no promise, trade Booker then. If you got 27/29 from Houston in a KD trade, then you can send Booker anywhere. If you traded KD elsewhere, then you probably gotta trade Booker to Houston.
I’d try and trade him to whoever will take him for nothing(I have my doubts we can find a partner)…
Respectfully: nobody, NOBODY, is going to take him for nothing. It is important for the "trade Beal" folks to understand that there is no trade. Nobody wants him and his contract. If anybody did, he would already be gone.
It might be a different story if he were an expiring contract, but nobody's going to want him now unless they can dump their own bad contracts on the Suns.
