Sabonis doesn't fix the defensive issues, but he's an efficient scorer and a great rebounder and passer. (and as soon as I typed that I thought he's an under-sized version of his father)
You fix the paint on offense, you get an elite connector, elite rebounder, can stretch 5 outta the paint, everything but a defensive anchor. You put strong defenders on the wings I think you can be just fine with Sabonis
Love, Hurts.

The problem is - where do they get there defensive anchors? They're either trading role players for them or signing players to minimum contracts. It's hard to find impact players that way.

I think Dunn is one, I think we get one from Houston in a mega, probably Smith. After that you hope you can flip Allen I guess?

I don't think KD would want to go to Sacramento. And I don't think the Kings would want him if he doesn't want to be there and wouldn't stay there.

I think more realistic targets for KD are teams that perceive themselves as being close to contending, teams that already had a pretty good record and made the playoffs but fell short due to lack of offensive firepower. That's why I like Houston so much. If they lose in the 1st or 2nd round with shaky offense despite their great record, that's a good argument that KD could push them over the top.
I don't think KD would go to Sacramento in the deal, he'd be going elsewhere with Sabonis being rereoutred to Phoenix is some sort of multi team deal. I love Sabonis, id take him all day.
Exactly, this is rerouting Jalen Green and picks to Sacramento with KD still in Houston. Or something similar from another team.

I think I’d want to keep a stretch big next to Sabonis if we did go that route…Keeping Eason would be the dream, but Jabari Smith Jr more likely.

Yep, start with Booker/Dunn/Sabonis/Smith…then find another wing shooter. That might be hard to find though. Maybe if you buyout Beal(or stretch him), you might get access to the MLE to sign someone. Otherwise you might have to start Grayson or hope to move him for someone who can start.

Free agent class doesn’t look good haha…the guys that you could maybe get for the MLE or less that could be interesting:

Amir Coffey - 6’7 210, shot 41% from 3. Played 72 games for LAC

Quentin Grimes(restricted) - 6’5 205…more offense than defense

Taurean Prince 6’6 218, shot 43% from 3…getting older though

Bruce Brown - 6’4 202, struggled to shoot since Denver though

Nickeil Alexander-Walker - 6’5 205…probably least likely to be able to get for MLE. Elite D and good offensively.

NAW would be my top choice, but Coffey could be a sneaky good pickup.

Speaking of hustle awards, the Suns posted this and then we haven’t heard anything since (it’s usually awarded at the final regular season home game if I recall correctly):

Not true. Just the big (and medium) names.

I'd give it to Dunn or Gillespie. Both of those guys gave it their all every time they played.

I voted for Dunn. Thanks for the link, @JeremyG!

BTW, I think Marty is gaslighting us. I just added my own bold and color to make it look like the @ thing is working.

Perhaps Ishbia decided he didn’t want anyone getting it this year and just quietly got rid of it?

I think that’s exactly what he did. Not going to award anyone for hustling in a season almost no one did.

Ooh, I think I may have finally found the fix for this issue. I had to add a "group permission" for people to use the bbcode. Can you try it again? When I type "@" it does an autocomplete, or you can just surround a user with the bbcode "smention".

No autocompletion and I'm still getting the error when I try to Submit with "smention":
You cannot use certain BBCodes: "smention".

I replaced the brackets with quotes in the error code otherwise it wouldn't let me post it.
