Hats off to the T-Wolves. That was a heck of a comeback game 7 win. I think they can get past Dallas too

My Wolves $25 bet to win the championship after game 2 can now be cashed out for $2 and change.
Damn, what a waste of $23. That could get you a snack at a game.
Or a bottled water.
I didn't cash it out so the extra $2 would have covered the sales tax.
Now worth $6.68. Get it while it’s hot!
Now almost back to full value: $22.50.

HUGE win for the Wolves, wow. I thought Denver had it in their hands, especially after that first half when they were up by 15 or something. But the Wolves kept clawing back, even though Ant Edwards shot 6-24 for the game. Jokic looked exhausted by the end. Maybe these Wolves are for real after all.

They need more bench and some rest. MPJ probably affected by all his family stuff. The Wolves are such a great defensive team. Suns are going to need another ball handler off the bench who can withstand pressure when the “big 3” are resting or inured.

What are your odds? My friend has a few hundred dollars on them at both 13-1 and 8.5-1.

He didn't play like it against the Lakers. I think it's more likely he's just Tobias Harris 2.0, he'll pull a Casper at any moment.

Josh Giddey is getting traded to the Suns.
Rumor or fantasy?
Prediction.
I threw that out a few days ago but don’t see it as super likely. I think if they did put him on the market, they could get more than we can offer. Also, James Jones had those “shooting” comments recently in terms of what he was looking for.
But I do think a different Thunder player is a strong possibility: Gordon Hayward (next year’s EG).
And I threw it out more than two weeks ago:

Agreed. He is probably a lock.

Not great. I didn't bet on them until they were up 2-0 on the Nuggets. +320. $25 to win $105.

I really hope not. I don't think he has much left and definitely not enough for playoff minutes.
Equally as important as his age is the Suns being already essentially locked into 5 Shooting Guards with the probability that O'Neale is likely to receive an extension if only for taking advantage of his Bird Rights. I suppose they could trade Gordon or Lee for a minimum level player at another position and that would free up a spot for Hayward, but we're back to my first point about him being old without much left to provide on the court.
I'd rather they roll the dice on a Metu/Yuta/Bol type instead, at least someone who's primary skill isn't shooting at a flooded position.

I don't see Dallas beating them, unless the refs kiss Doncic's a**.
Is it the second year in a row the Suns lose to the eventual champion?
At least, that's an argument for continuity. Wolves were a bit of a mess and underperforming last year.

What we saw on the court is the biggest argument against continuity. However, we already don't have continuity with a whole new coaching staff and hopefully new playing strategies to optimize what we have. And the big 3 continuity is happening whether we like it or not.

I'm willing to forego continuity for the sake of having a balanced roster, which is exactly what the Wolves have put together.

Despite the delusion peddled in press conferences, I think Ishbia and the rest of the front office know it has to change and there a people being paid a lot of money to see the avenue to get there.

It's really too bad the players association took the terrible deal and allowed these tax apron rules. Woof.

Are the Pacers better when McConnell is on the floor over Hali?
Sometimes. Haliburton is approaching enigma territory.
He never seems to pressure the defense with drives, plays like Lonzo Ball on offense. I don't like it.
