But above all, my target was not McD, it was the snobish atmosphere that sometimes takes over this board, obssesing with the future instead of living the present. Am I off target in that too?

Such rudeness isn't necessary.

We're humans. We like to discuss those subjects which give us enthusiasm. The prospect of a possible championship in a few years is more exciting to discuss than the prospect of a competitive first-round series this year. That's not snobbishness. Looking down your nose at it is.

As for my rudeness, I was not talking about any particular poster, and as much as somebody can enjoy keep dreaming about winning championships with players still on elementary school, many people enjoy to go for the win every night, even if it is with an old player on the floor and they do not get this kind of respect for their way to enjoy the game. Granted, sometimes wears out to keep hearing about how Departed player X was key to our current struggling, but in my case, I also get tired to read overfixations on that "rebuilding" stuff.

And I'm not talking about Frye at his current price tag, but any time I read something like

"He is getting old"
"He is past his prime"
"He won't keep this level for the time we are ready to contend"
"We have to flip him over for prospects"
"He is taking away time for developing our foundational players"
"If he retires as a Sun, we are letting expire an asset for nothing"

As savvy as it sounds, beyond some point is delusional to only keep thinking three years down the road. So, for as much ranting that goes around here for a single bad game, for a veteran struggling to perform, for a recently extended player failing to inmediately live up to the increased expectations, it turns out that I'm the one being rude?

Maybe it's because I'm talking about people actually reading this thing?
That's the deal? To only offend absent people?

We all have different perspectives and focus our fandom in different ways. I'm sure people whom focus differently than we do annoy us some times. No big deal.

It's a sports message board of a team that has never been the best team for a season after 46 years of trying, after all.
