An article about the new bad boy Sun, Dillon Brooks.

And apparently, we really did target him in the trade with Houston. I think he's going to help toughen up our locker room and instill that dawg in us that Ishbia has been clamoring for.

Not to mention Brooks cool hair design. It is tight. Literally.

He had to be a target based on what we got in return.

I'm pretty skeptical of Brooks as an enforcer. To me he's all bark and not enough bite. When he's actually faced with a tough opponent like Lebron, he gets pushed around and absolutely clowned and his toughness evaporates. That, or he does some punk-ass thing to try to irritate the opponent and gets a tech or ejected, without any real evidence that it got under the opponent's skin. He may give us some toughness but I would prefer tough players who show their toughness through their work ethic, hitting the gym and practice court, playing hard every game, playing hard defense. Brooks does some of those things but his "bark" gets overhyped to me in terms of its positive impact. We shall see.

I think he does the tough things…but he definitely steps over the line and does the stuff that will get him ejected too. He’s basically wing Beverley

Then you haven't been paying attention. Everybody has been talking about Brooks' example of his work ethic and gym time since he got here. We already know he plays hard every game with tough defense. Let's see what we've got on the court before making these "all bark and not enough bite" comments. He appears to be everything you described in your preferences from my understanding so far behind the scenes.

Please, no Beverly references. I'd prefer wing Draymond although I can't stand his antics either. But I don't think Brooks' antics are as bad as either Beverley or Draymond.

Maybe not as bad, but if you had to list a top 3 from the last 10 years, I think Brooks is 3rd

I can't argue too much with that. When I try to think of another player, nothing is coming to mind other than our own Grayson Allen who has turned to the light. Maybe even too much!

Isaiah Stewart is worse than Brooks to me, he's not even a decent basketball player.

Brooks at least tries on defense. If that can rub off on the rest of the team, that will at least be something of an improvement on last season.

I'm fine with Brooks as the tough guy/enforcer but won't like it if he gets dirty, costs us points with techs or ejections. We need an edge tho and he gives us that. I just hope we can avoid the chucking and 1-13 games. I think he maybe thinks he's better than he is and playing on a not-so-great team will have him thinking he's a guy who put up a lot of shots. We need him playing his role, not trying to score 20ppg.

They've put out so many uniforms in the past several years that it's hard for me to even tell what is new about a given new uni look. These look fine but they look similar to others I've seen.

Stop it! I'm definitely not hearting that as I want to see a Phoenix Suns championship in MY lifetime. But I'm not willing to be like that creepy guy trying to live forever.
