Tied 46-46. Ayton looks great out there with 11 and 6 so far. Booker can't hit the broad side of a barn; he's 2-9. I actually think we're playing okay all things considered. Landale and Okogie giving us some good minutes off the bench. CP3 looks energetic. Mostly seems like we're okay if Book starts hitting some of his shots.

It’s telling that 3 free throw attempts gets Kevin Ray to be impressed and mention how Ayton has 3 already.

Booker last 3 games - 13/43 FG, 30.3%; 3/13 3PT, 23.1%
They're not going to win many games with him shooting like that.

Well, we have what, about 10 wing players and one broken down power forward?

This is a really tough Pelicans team. Hard to beat them when it feels like almost everybody on their roster is playing great and hitting every shot.

The Pels have 3 guys off the bench in double figures in scoring. We are struggling to find contributions outside of Ayton and a bit from CP3.

And it sucks that it is on a night where we are getting what we need from Ayton and CP3.

If DA's guarding Zion then TC or Ish need to be in there guarding Nance. If they're bigger with JV, then you gotta decide if you want to matchup big.
Book's got no legs and the Pels have a lot of good defenders with size.

Well I'm glad he is getting the slump out of the way early in the season. Hopefully it doesn't last too long.
If he was on tonight, just playing at his averages or slightly below, the Suns would be in a good position to get the W.

This has been issue since the 2021 Finals. Still waiting on Jones to address it.
