Must win game IMHO. If the roll over again the dismantling will begin.

Suns have to play big against the Pelicans to have a chance at winning.
N.O. currently 6th in RPG. Biyombo and Saric have to play.

We’ve been a pretty good rebounding team with Craig out there.
Re: Game Day: Suns (16-9) @ Pelicans (16-8), Fri 12/9/22
I don't know if it's a must win but we need to see a competitive team from start to finish. The Pels are a scary team, I've kind of been actively ignoring them.
Re: Game Day: Suns (16-9) @ Pelicans (16-8), Fri 12/9/22
This is kind of where I'm at. I don't think we need to win this one. I just want to see signs that we are playing the right way, giving good effort, distributing the ball, getting good shots, playing active defense. If we do that but still lose, I'm okay with that. I'm more concerned with our flow and our offense and schemes than the actual W/L record. And the Pels are a stout team that would be hard to beat for anybody.

Ya I don’t think I’d consider any one regular season game a must-win. Not as long as we are staying in the top half of the playoff teams. I’d like to stay top 3 ideally, but coming into the playoffs healthy, fresh, and clicking is what matters. That and adding some more talent to the roster.

Hopefully, the team is finally understanding that playing like they didn't need help, will encourage Jones to stay put, and is actively underperforming (inside job by Monty?

Sounds like it may be a must-lose then, if it's the only thing that will get JJ to act.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 3:50 amMust win game IMHO. If the roll over again the dismantling will begin.

Agreed, after the Sacramento game, all the media started to say "hey, they are great as they are" and we know Jones and Monty are likely to stay put under that scenario. This team needs another big piece without losing any from Booker/Ayton/Mikal, even if it means overpaying on the deal.JeremyG wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 12:57 pmSounds like it may be a must-lose then, if it's the only thing that will get JJ to act.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 3:50 amMust win game IMHO. You guys are funny. A must-lose game? And no, most of the media was saying we are not contenders. Nobody has been taking us seriously as contenders as presently constructed.Aztec Sunsfan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 1:05 pmAgreed, after the Sacramento game, all the media started to say "hey, they are great as they are" and we know Jones and Monty are likely to stay put under that scenario. Be careful what you wish for Jeremy! You’re going to get a nice Charlotte DA jerseyJeremyG wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 12:57 pmSounds like it may be a must-lose then, if it's the only thing that will get JJ to act.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 3:50 amMust win game IMHO. Re: Game Day: Suns (16-9) @ Pelicans (16-8), Fri 12/9/22
Yeah, I wouldn't deem this a must-win. But I think there is a good chance the Suns win. They're a good team, and I think they'll want to bounce back after the last two obliterations.
But even if the Suns get blown out, it won't tell us anything we don't already know. So honestly, despite this being a matchup of the two best teams in the West, it really is just another regular season game.

One thing I can guarantee, though, is that Jones will not trade DA this season.

Book's got the yips. He needs to make a shot real bad.
Re: Game Day: Suns (16-9) @ Pelicans (16-8), Fri 12/9/22
With a healthy CP3, this team actually can look pretty good.
Re: Game Day: Suns (16-9) @ Pelicans (16-8), Fri 12/9/22
Nice game for Landale so far.
Re: Game Day: Suns (16-9) @ Pelicans (16-8), Fri 12/9/22
Our offense is janky and Book doesn't have any confidence in his own offense. The ball doesn't look good leaving his hand and Daniels and Marshall both stripped him in ISO situations.
Still we're up 1 and the Pels haven't been in sync much either. The bench guys like Nance and Alvarado got it going for the them and Zion's starting to have his way with our smaller defenders. Hopefully our shooting picks up.

Shamet is just unwatchably bad. Sit his ass down.

Suns are currently not enjoyable to watch.
Love, Hurts.
