1st off we were not a title contender when he took over…we were in the play-in. 2nd, entire future? That’s just an incredibly short sighted view of the future. Yes we can’t currently lose on purpose to try and make the team better, but to say we have no future is just needlessly dramatic. I’ve hated that everytime someone says it. We do in fact have draft picks in 5 of the next 7 years. We still have Booker and KD. Both will return valuable pieces for the future if we choose to move them.
Robert Sarver ruined a title contender though…Donald Sterling was a racist piece of garbage. James Dolan had the Knicks terrible for decades. The new Mavs owner seems off to a bad start.
Ishbia has been the owner for 2 years. Ya his all-in move didn’t work, let’s maybe pump the brakes a bit…also if you’re agreeing with Stephen A Smith, you know that’s a problem. That guys just says extreme stuff for the reaction.

I think SAS is exaggerating, though that's sort of his thing. Ishbia isn't one of the worst owners in pro sports history. But he has made some huge mistakes in his first few years, and he's deep in a hole that will be difficult to get out of. I still hold out hope that he can learn from this and get better as our owner. Heck, even Bobby Saver got better as the years went on; he learned to step back, hire mature adults to run the basketball side, (mostly) let them make decisions, and he even started spending a bit more. And I think the older and wiser version of Ishbia may end up being a great owner, one who is willing to take big contracts and spend and do everything he can to improve the team, without trying to manage it himself or force his will or mortgage our future. Here's hoping.

Ishbia isn’t even the worst of the Suns two most recent owners so as others have said it is at best a highly exaggerated take.
If nothing else, Ishbia has done a lot of good stuff investing in facilities, G League team etc.which take him out of the ‘worst ever owner’ conversation.

I believe this trade works once we renounce the rights to Cody Martin and Micic.
Magic: Cam Johnson, Grayson Allen
Nets: KCP, Goga, Jett Howard, Tristan Da Silva, 16th pick, 24th pick, two 2nds from Magic, Mitchell Robinson, Suns 2029 pick.
Knicks: KD, Nick Claxton, Royce
Suns: KAT, Mikal Bridges, Knick pick swaps
Nets gets nice young pieces and a boat load of Picks, the potential to flip KCP(if not washed) or Mitchell Robinson(also expiring)
Magic: they finally get shooting! Suggs-Cam J- Franz- Paolo-WCJ with Grayson off the bench. That’s a potential top 3 team in the east.
