Wow - what a pill.

Just another reason why I'm glad we didn't go after Kevin Love.....
I'm curious Swing. What makes him a pill in your eyes?

I love how the Cleveland breakup stories took all of 2 weeks to start coming out.

The fact that he caused so much drama for naught with Minnesota, then says he'll re-up with Cleveland if traded there. So now that he's in Cleveland, he says he'll "seriously consider" opting out to go to the Lakers. And that's just in the span of about a year.

All the drama and distraction he's caused and sabotaging his new team in the process, yeah - he's a pill.

What's to dispute that in your eyes, Indy?

Unless I missed it in the article, he never said he considered leaving. They used the old "indications are" crap. They couldn't find a single person to say it. Or even "sources say". Seems like a piece just to rule people up.

That's my take on it as well. He has a handshake agreement to resign so unless LeBron walks & he won't... then I don't see the fuss about some made up bullshit.

So, it's nothing but circling vultures? Funny how the radius spans nearly 1,000 miles.

Though I do agree that it's much ado about nothing, as Love is worth nowhere near the franchise player treatment he's gotten/gets in the press, anyways.....

This season he's averaging 19 and 10 with 41% three-point shooting. Seems pretty good to me.

Meanwhile, Cleveland's 2-3 - and how may time has Love been to the playoffs again?

Only 1 guy has ever got the Wolves into the playoffs, and it is a clear, first ballot hall of famer. And he couldn't even do that every year, and only got them out of the 1st round once. I don't think it is a fair knock on Love to say he didn't get them to the playoffs. (Although there are certainly other reasons to criticize him.)

You're right - that's not a totally fair gauge, with more outside variables to be considered. But Love was the best player putting up crazy numbers and he was the leader - thing is, those are just numbers. Not a whole lot of steak behind that sizzle.....

Those are ridiculous shooting percentages. Is Hayward the most athletic white dude in the NBA? In NBA history? I'm struggling to think of another, but I don't have the same historical reach that some of you guys have. ;)

Tom Chambers, Rex Chapman, Dan Majerle, and Brent Barry are just a few who come to mind.

Just to recap and make use of some salt lying around, Gordon Hayward was the 2nd of our gifts to Utah for taking Tom Gugliotta off of our hands in early 2004.....

Anybody else see SA methodically beat the Clippers last night after trailing most of the game? The Clippers didn't execute down the stretch. Tonight SA @ Warriors will be interesting although SA is probably gassed and will thusly be at a disadvantage.

Anyone notice amare is rebounding like we all hoped he would when he was here?

He's averaging 8.5 boards in 24 minutes. Good for the 5th highest rebound rate among players playing at least 20 minutes. 12th best amongst everyone. I hope he can have a decent year, we were right to let him go, but I was always a fan.

I don't want Amare's contract, knees, or defense, but I would kill for a PF that can pick and roll AND pick and pop like him. (Although I haven't seen him for extended periods in quite a while, so maybe he lost some of that...)

Yeah, watched the end of that Knicks game too. Good to see Amare getting meaningful minutes with that team include closeout minutes.

Isn't he a free agent this coming summer? What do you think about him as a free agent next year?
