And James jones was holding firm…Ishbia pushed it across the table and gave in…Brooklyn also had time..KD was under contract for 4 years…we couldn’t wait for someone to get desperate like we did.

Beal’s play (when healthy) also took a hit throughout his Phoenix tenure, a byproduct of not being able to be himself, according to his agent Mark Bartelstein.
“The big part of the problem is that Brad got away from his identity and who he is as a player,” Bartelstein told Mark Medina of Sportskeeda.com. “Brad made a lot of sacrifices in his individual game with all good intentions to help the team be successful. But it took him away from what he does best, which also led itself to the team not playing as well.
“He is always going to play the right way. He’s always going to be selfless,” he added. “But if you have Brad Beal on your team, you have to let him be Brad Beal. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense and you’re not getting the best version of him.”

Yeah, I wish we could wipe it from our collective memory banks starting with the trade for KD. Although that gap from the Finals team to this team would be puzzling.

I'm just going to say that I don't really blame KD and/or Beal. The Suns made a gamble, and it just didn't work. I do think Beal tried to adapt; I don't think he dogged it while he was here. It even seemed that he kept trying to play while hurt, which only resulted in him reinjuring himself.

They're all deserving of blame. Beal didn't force his way here but he was certainly open to it and accepted it and all he did was live up to the rep he built in Washington. And KD is KD. He had a chance to change the narratives around his style of play and leadership and only reinforced those as well.
