Kawhi has to be scratching his head. He was mostly healthy for the stretch between about Christmas and the beginning of February, and the Clips went 17-4 and started to look like a playoff threat. Now the second and third best players from that group are gone. Seems weird.

Process levels of tanking for the Pacers the rest of the year, then. Damn. They'll want to mitigate the risk of losing that pick as much as they possibly can.

Looks like it converts to an unprotected 2031 pick if it doesn't convey this year. So the Clippers get some guaranteed value out of it, and can roll the dice on an unlikely outcome this year. Not bad.
