I was just looking at Allen to the Magic but not sure they have anything that helps us at the 4 spot. I think Allen would be a good fit there and I do like Jett Howard (Juwon's son), plus we'd take back Garry Harris. Jett Howard is a 6-8 shooter, was compared to Cam Johnson and still needs some development but can't get time in Orlando since they're deep at the swing position. Howard is intriguing tho as a longer, 3pt shooting SF but we'd probably be worse in the shortterm.
The Magic should have interest in Allen for sure as they are at the bottom in 3pt. But if they are not giving up Goga, I'd look for a three way trade where we get a win now athetic forward or stretch big.

Why not send Tyus to the Heat as a sweetener for Jimmy?

Just trade him for one of their bs minimum deals. Rozier sucks, they could use Tyus, even for a half a season.

I’m pretty positive that at least 2 of Bol, Allen and Tyus are gone by the deadline for draft assets.

Tyus' value is negligible in this context. Min contract without Bird rights. I'd be surprised if Allen can't net a lotto protected 1stR. O'Neale, though, not so much (after all we got him for 3 seconds, and that's what the Lakers just paid for DFS).

He's a keeper! So nice to have a promising young rookie again.

The funny thing is he claimed we offered Nurk for Vucevic…we obviously didn’t because that’s an illegal trade.

Well that would explain why the offer wasn’t accepted, wouldn’t it?

Is there some 3-4 team scenario that could've been worked out?

And Simmons annoys everyone, who's he to talk?

A stat I saw on Reddit (and have not yet verified): Grayson’s shooting splits in January are 60/57/88 for an 82.4 TS%.

Hate to say it, but we should be calling around about him. He might bring in a haul.

I don't think trading him would make this team better. Shooters like that who can do so much don't grow on trees.

The point would be to trade him for a future 1st and maybe young prospect. Not to make the team better.

Lol sure man, let's get worse in the win now window. Makes no sense.

We are not winning now. There is no such window. The current window is the denial window.

That makes zero sense.

They're not going to trade Allen if it's not for a win-now piece without blowing it up and trading the big 3.

Yeah, you trade Allen to improve now, not to gather assests for the future.

No, trading him would not make this team better. But it might make another team better, which is why it might bring in a haul that benefits us in the long run. I'm not saying I want to trade the guy, I'm just saying he's so valuable that we'd be a fool not to get him appraised.

Trading Grayson for picks/youth only makes sense if you trade KD and Book too. Until we do that you have to keep Grayson.
