Five games in seven days is kind of nuts. Those are all theoretically winnable games, though, if our team could pull its collective head out of its ass.

There isn't a team in the NBA that is a winnable game for us these days. I stopped fooling myself with that nonsense when we continually get our asses kicked in by every team in the NBA, depleted roster of our opponents or bottom of the NBA record they may have be damned.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Don’t worry. Ishbia won’t let us miss the playoffs.

But even if he does, he definitely won’t let our number come up in the lottery, so we’ll be OK.

Regarding Beal coming off the bench, I think it could light a spark into this team. Remember when Ginobili came off the bench for the Spurs ? Or when Harden came off the bench for the Thunder ? It provided better bench production for their respective teams. They didn't start, but they got starters minutes and they were in the game on the 4th quarter.

A shake up was needed. Beal makes the Suns bench better, and I like Plumlee starting over Nurkic because he's quicker and he hustles more.

Hopefully a win streak is coming and here's to a better second half of the season.

Here's the first part of the ESPN piece where Windhorst says that the Suns want Bradley Beal feeling unwelcome so he lifts his no-trade clause:

Might be neither here nor there but if we benched Beal to make him uncomfortable and waive his NTC then that means the FO/ownership told Bud to do it and it wasn't a coaching decision?

Spoiler: show/hide
This is a bullshit take. They want him coming off the bench because everything they've recently thrown at the wall hasn't stuck.

Let's also not forget this team was looking pretty good when healthy. It's not like they've sucked for 2 months. Not to say there aren't problems (CENTER), just that shuffling lineups isn't the great indicator he's claiming it to be.

Minor trade idea: Plumlee to the Knicks for Hukporti and one of their future 2nds?

Knicks need a solid vet backup C and he can provide a bit of what they lost in iHart. They had interest over the summer but we signed him first. Hukporti has good size and athleticism, energy big.

Thats the KD extension…I do still want to blow it up, but having Jimmy, KD, and Book all on long contracts is a good thing. Would be easier to trade them and blow it up.
