Trading Grayson for picks/youth only makes sense if you trade KD and Book too. Until we do that you have to keep Grayson.
Or trade him for someone who will help us win. Because keeping KD and Book means you are continuing to try to win. So; why would someone that is in win-now mode shoot themselves in the foot? Makes no sense and it's not happening.

The funny thing is he claimed we offered Nurk for Vucevic…we obviously didn’t because that’s an illegal trade.
Did he claim that? I think he was just shooting down a trade hypothetical, not reporting anything.

Perhaps, but it just falls flat if it’s a trade that can’t even happen…loses some credibility to me. If we were talking to Chicago about Vuc, it’s obviously Beal that would have to be in the trade.

Ya agreed, if you can move Grayson for a bigger player that can play rotation minutes, that makes sense.

Any way to make a 3-team trade with Dallas for Gafford work? Acquiring someone like Goga, Gafford, or Kessler to go along with Richards would be perfect.

Grayson is enough salary to bring back Gafford

It was reported Dallas is shopping Gafford for a perimeter defender. A straight up trade theoretically works, I’m just not certain Grayson is the kind of player they’re looking for.

Exactly. If it's a big, the priority should be someone who can shoot threes. If not a big, then a forward with actual SF/PF size and athleticism (no more of this 6'5-6'7 guards pretending to be something they are not; for that we already have O'Neale).

He thinks he’s important enough for us to care about his advice. That’s funny.

If I wanted to watch a sport that doesn’t care about championships I’d go with 5 year olds play coed rec ball where the score isn’t kept…. They play harder, have fun and doesn’t cost me anything.
The whole point was to bring a championship to the valley…. Not .500 ball on a blown out budget.

That Flex tweet is loser mentality. You don't trade away a decade's worth of draft picks and blow your cap over the 2nd apron to be happy about "winning 6 of 8" and "making progress" and "trying to get better day to day." FOH with that noise. I am perfectly happy to support a non-contending team but I won't let somebody tell me that this team's present and future setup is in any way acceptable. There is an urgency here that affects not only this season but the next 6-7 years of our team at a minimum.

If that's the best advice he has, he can keep it to himself. This team is paid too much to be mediocre and we've all witnessed a lot of lack of hustle from this team and basics like blocking out your man and rebounding. Having said that, they have improved in some of these areas lately. They seem to be more focussed now and are bringing more intensity. About time.

Ya he sometimes acts like he’s PR for the fanbase…just let fans be fans their way. His fandom works for him, but doesn’t mean it works for everyone.

He's an absolute loser for thinking he's someone that can give advice, period. Shut the hell up and stick to your fake reporting

It would be a lot more fun to watch if the players looked like they were having fun. Laughing on the bench while getting blown out doesn’t count.

I don't think this team has the mental fortitude to handle the toughest remaining schedule when they usually need a full quarter of basketball before realizing the game's begun.
