Just tuned in and the difference is that the Pels are getting all the loose balls, long rebounds, etc. Just the little extra edge in energy is making a huge difference. We can complain about the refs or Booker but the reality is that there is a difference in effort.

Book couldn't bother to box out CJ. And that's the game.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Finishing the game without Booker -- there's nobody able to really create if you shut down CP3-Ayton PnR

I feel like a common thread in the last 3-4 games where we've struggled has been an athleticism gap. The Mavs, the Celtics, even the Rockets have a lot of strong and athletic guys and we have a hard time matching that. All the moreso if they're also big and strong like the Pelicans front line. We have a bunch of talented players on our roster, but not a lot of elite athletes in our rotation.

The Suns shoot 22 of 44 on 3's and still lose.

Get back on defense if you don’t want the Pels to do that at the end of the game.

Well, Booker certainly wasn't the answer tonight when he was in there.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 8:49 pmFinishing the game without Booker -- there's nobody able to really create if you shut down CP3-Ayton PnR

There's a lack of energy and focus, some of which can be chalked up to fatigue without Cam Johnson, Crowder, and CP3 for quite a few games. But to lose three games in a row especially after the last game is inexcusable.

I think we're saying the same thing. Something fundamentally wrong with the team right now.The Bobster wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 8:53 pmWell, Booker certainly wasn't the answer tonight when he was in there.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 8:49 pmFinishing the game without Booker -- there's nobody able to really create if you shut down CP3-Ayton PnR

Zion windmill dunks on us with 2 seconds left when they're already up 9. Fuck that shit, that's disrespectful. Then Avocado pushes Chris Paul and they start trading barbs. The two teams almost got into a brawl over it. Rivalry brewing between these teams.
Check in some scrub next game and send Zion to the floor.

We really need a POWER forward. I would love to get somebody like Larry Nance Jr. Big, strong and athletic. Even when Cam Johnson comes back we don’t have that. He’s athletic. That’s it.

Meh, suns didn’t bother to get back on D the last two possessions. Don’t think you can get mad if you are being lazyMori Chu wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 8:55 pmZion windmill dunks on us with 2 seconds left when they're already up 9.
