It's a shame we wasted our last challenge. Not that we should need it on a blatant non-call. I'm 95% they'll say it was a missed call in the 2 minute report.

Frustrating one but we played really well overall. The Wolves never went away and our offense got stuck late in the 4th. It can't just be on Book to do everything, especially when he's already dropping 44. Royce missed three straight 3s I think and has been off the past few games. The refs really bailed the Wolves out in the 2nd half. Never seen so many fouls called on screens, just an oddly officiated game. Defensively I thought we did a good job on Ant most of the time. Randle was cooking for outside and DDV had a stretch where he got hot but I never felt like we were overmatched like we were in the playoffs. Plumlee and Oso were great for us, Oso especially. He did the little things on both ends like cutting baseline or keeping his hands up and deflecting passes that really hurt the Wolves at times. Nice to know he can step in and contribute.
Thought Morris again gave us good minutes but Bud didn't use him much in the 2nd half IIRC , probably because Book needed to be out there so much. I think Allen should be a guy we're running offense for while Book is on the bench and Beal and KD are still out. He can generate good looks for himself, more so than anyone. Also think Tyus needs to stay aggressive getting into the lane and being a threat to score. He can't just float on the perimeter after he brings the ball up and gives it to Book. He's gotta put pressure on the defense.
Sucks to lose such a close one but after the OKC game, this one feels like a win.

I don’t think you can challenge a non-call anyway.

Hmm. Seems like an oversight.

I forgot about the early start and napped through most of this one. Woke up just in time to watch us lose. Wish I had slept just a few minutes longer.

Despite our terrible game against OKC
I did my usual and avoided scores/ msg board til I watched playback. That was a real gut punch because the guys played most of the game so well and I'm like wow way to bounce back.
Thing is with watching replay you can tell how long the game was so I know it didn't go to Overtime.
When we kept getting those offensive rebounds I was sure we won it and Wolves weren't getting another possession. I just wanted it to be Book to seal it. So yeah once they got the ball back and I knew the stream ends in a couple minutes......
Geeez that sucked.

I don't mind Bud trying different lineups
Plumlee is very good at stepping out to trap the ball handler and I'm glad we are just not only using drop coverage.
Nurk honestly has quick hands and does OK at times also obviously once the guard doesn't get an angle to turn the corner.
The 2 big lineup did alright and that's with Nurk still playing small. It's brutal stuff from him right now
So it's great to see Oso continue to just do his thing. Play smart and show his sneaky athleticism at times.

Yep, just need Oso to be a little more aggressive around the hoop and not pass out the the three point line a la Diaw when close to the hoop. Throw it down, big fella!

The NBA last 2 minute report says that while the offensive foul Randle delivered was correctly officiated, he traveled and that was incorrectly not called.

These guys. Whatever... they were wrong and cost us the game.

It sucked to lose like that, but I felt like we played much better than in the other non-KD, non-Beal games. It felt like progress, and it was against a good opponent. So I'll try to take the moral victory.

The 2 minute report is BS. Randle clearly pushed off.
