Game Day: Suns (9-4) @ Timberwolves (7-6), Sun 11/17/24
Time: 1:30 pm AZ (12:30 pm PT/3:30 pm ET)
Place: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN
TV: AZ Family 3TV/NBALP
The Suns play the Minnesota Timberwolves for the first time since they were swept out of the playoffs' first round last season. Suns have lost two in a row and three out of the last four games. Not a whole lot of confidence going into this one. Beal remains out with KD and Grayson Allen is a game-time decision.

I'm all for experimenting but not sure this is a viable lineup.

So weird playing Nurk and Plumlee as starters. Why not Oso if you feel like having two bigs from the get go? Anyway, let's see how this goes...

Haha first defensive rebound and Nurk and Plumlee collide in the air for it with nobody from the Wolves nearby.

Book drew a flagrant on Randle getting himself 3 FTs. I thought it was a normal basketball play despite the fact that Booker landed on Randle's shoe and turned his ankle. Oh well.

Oso producing on both sides. Lots of activity. Really nice.

Booker looks very feisty today; he has 15 of our 24 points so far and has been very aggressive. I think he's been reading all the bullshit you fools have been writing about him on here. That or he got some of that Jenner poon tang last night. Maybe both.

Crazy block by Gobert on Allen. Refs bailed our ass out with the followup call.

Suns showing great hustle here late in the 2nd. Suns up 9 as I write this.
Re: Game Day: Suns (9-4) @ Timberwolves (7-6), Sun 11/17/24
Book has 27 points at the half and looks superb. (Where all you haters at??) Okogie had a nasty putback dunk on our last possession of the half. Randle looks better than I thought he would, honestly; not a big fan of his but he has better toughness, handles, and versatility than Towns. Suns by 10.
Re: Game Day: Suns (9-4) @ Timberwolves (7-6), Sun 11/17/24
The level of intensity and focus is so much better than the last few games. Book is making much quicker reads/plays and the rest of the team feeding off his strong start. You love to see it. Now, one more half like that please!
Re: Game Day: Suns (9-4) @ Timberwolves (7-6), Sun 11/17/24
Really good response after the last game. Book is locked in. Really good support from the bench all around - Morris playing well, Okogie staying solid and Allen getting going. Oso looks great on both ends. Moving extremely well off the ball cutting baseline, showing well on defense and recovering back, doing a pretty good job helping in the paint without fouling. Randle and DDV are doing the most damage and we've been able to keep Ant out of the game. We're defending him how teams are defending Book. Gotta stick with it but he's too good to stay quiet all game.

Using the bigs to trap the ball handers has been very good. Plumlee has been a great addition
Love, Hurts.

Plumlee is better than Nurkic.

Can't say I'm a big fan of this Nurk + Plumlee twin towers lineup we're playing right now.

On that last 3Q possession, Oso had a good look near the basket but chose to pass to Royce for a wide open corner 3pt. Not a bad decision but I would have liked more agression by Oso. Take these scoring opportunities kid

Yeah O'Neale has his limitations but is a winning player. Bargain salary as well.
