KD is not paying attention if he thinks our defense is even decent.

Ryan's FT numbers are extremely concerning. I've never seen a player be a consistent offensive perimeter player who sucks ass at free throws
Ben Wallace figured it out.
I might be Ben Wallace's biggest fan, I don't know if he could play in today's game.
Ben Wallace was not a perimeter player. He played Center.
Bruce Bowen. 40% 3pt, all NBA defense, terrible FTs. Might not be what you mean by consistent offensive player, but I'd be ecstatic if Dunn delivers 75% of Bowen's impact on a winning team.
You did it. You found one.

Can't aggregate players in the trade, so we can only trade one player at a time - which is actually a nice safety measure because I'm sure the Heat would ask for a guy like Dunn and we'd be tempted to throw him into a deal.
You can still trade more than one player if you structure it as separate deals. It’s tricky, but not impossible.

I’ve liked most of what Ishbia has done off the court. If only he had just let the basketball operations people take care of the roster…

This sounds good, until you look at prices to go to the games. I was thinking of taking the family to the Dec 27 Mavs game, but tickets are $150 ea. (face value, not resale) for the worst seats in the arena. In contrast, I bought row 1 seats behind the Suns bench in Detroit for not a lot more.

If he let the ops guys run the team we'd trot out 5 gorillas with T-shirt cannons.

Yep, I've noticed a huge discrepancy based on who we're playing. Lakers tickets are a lot more too. Supply and demand, I guess.

For sure, and I have no problem with that. I get it. But cutting the price of a hot dog isn't moving the affordability needle much for a family. Just saying.

Yeah, but you have to go to Detroit. They should pay you.

How many more times can they change the franchise?

I know it was porobably a rhetorical question, but it made me curious on how often the Suns have changed their combination of their top 3 players -

1968-69 - D.VanArsdale/Goodrich/Fox
1969-70 - D.VanArsdale/Goodrich/Hawkins
1970-72 - D.VanArsdale/Hawkins/Silas
1972-73 - Walk/C.Scott/Hawkins
1973-74 - Walk/C.Scott/D.VanArsdale
1974-75 - C.Scott/D.VanArsdale/Perry
1975-77 - Westphal/Adams/Perry
1977-79 - Westphal/Davis/Adams
1979-80 - Westphal/Davis/T.Robinson
1980-82 - T.Robinson/D.Johnson/Davis
1982-83 - Nance/D.Johnson/Lucas
1983-85 - Nance/Davis/Lucas
1985-87 - Nance/Davis/Humphries
1987-88 - Nance/Gilliam/Edwards
1987-91 - K.Johnson/Chambers/Hornacek
1991-92 - K.Johnson/Hornacek/Majerle
1992-95 - Barkley/K.Johnson/Majerle
1995-96 - Barkley/K.Johnson/Finley
1996-97 - K.Johnson/Kidd/J.Williams
1997-98 - Kidd/Chapman/McDyess
1998-99 - Kidd/Gugliotta/C.Robinson
1999-00 - Kidd/Hardaway/C.Robinson
2000-01 - Kidd/Marion/C.Robinson
2001-02 - Marbury/Marion/J.Johnson
2002-04 - Marbury/Marion/Stoudemire
2004-08 - Marion/Stoudemire/Nash
2008-09 - Stoudemire/Nash/O'Neal
2009-10 - Stoudemire/Nash/Richardson
2010-11 - Nash/Frye/Richardson
2011-12 - Nash/Gortat/Dudley
2012-13 - Dragic/Gortat/Dudley
2013-14 - Dragic/Bledsoe/Tucker
2014-15 - Dragic/Bledsoe/Mkf.Morris
2015-16 - Knight/Bledsoe/Tucker
2016-17 - Booker/Bledsoe/Warren
2017-18 - Booker/Warren/J.Jackson
2018-19 - Booker/Bridges/Ayton
2019-20 - Booker/Ayton/Oubre
2020-23 - Booker/Paul/Bridges
2023-26 - Durant/Booker/Beal

Those combinations from 2010-18 are pretty much an explanation for why they were so bad.

Here's a secret - when you get three good players (like Westphal/Davis/Adams or Johnson/Chambers/Hornacek or Marion/Stoudemire/Marion or Booker/Paul/Bridges) and keep them together for a while you're going to have success. if you can add a Truck Robinson or Joe Johnson to that group, then you've really got something.
