There have been worse Suns, and assholes on the team. But nobody has been a bigger disappointment when you look at games available, impact on the team, compared to salary and expectations when acquired.

DA missed his Covid test…he quit on the team multiple times…took his diuretic to mask marijuana…Routinely wandered around aimlessly on the court. He was 7 feet tall and would sometimes play 30 minutes and get 8 and 4.. Beal is a bad fit and is injury prone…I don’t think he’s anywhere close to the most disappointing. Josh Jackson also comes to mind…though at least we didn’t pay him. Remember Brandon Knight?

Who's BASE? Also, Beal is trash. Always playful and goofy, always hurt from some bullshit. It's kind of alarming his demeanor and seeming lack of care on the court because he's pretty good in front of the mic, unlike Ayton.

It’s been a while and there are people reading this who weren’t here then, so I’ll fill you in on the inside joke.

McD was always talking about how Knight was almost an All-Star in the East. I mocked him for this, called Knight AASE and tried to make it happen like fetch, but it didn’t catch on. Then McD dropped the phrase “borderline All-Star in the East” in a press conference, and I guess BASE makes for a better acronym, because it caught on.
