I don’t think Spotrac is right…it says Eubanks and KBD signed 2 year deals with no options and I’m pretty sure they have player options…though I’d be thrilled if they don’t.
I suppose it's not updated with all the options yet, but I couldn't find anything that indicated the second year has a team option.

Edit: These deals are finalized on July 6th, so that's when we'll find out all of the details. I'm sure there will be a few head scratchers.

What? That makes the Eubanks signing look like a really savvy bit of business. There's no way Jock is worth 8 mil a year lol.
I am no longer upset about not retaining Landale. ;)

But the thing you have to keep in mind about the Eubanks deal is that it is just a rental; the Suns won't be able to keep him after this year, and I can tell you now it is going to suck to watch him leave and there will be nothing we can do.
Ya I’m worried about that with all the guys we brought in. They are all rentals as we can’t pay them next summer(unless they aren’t very good).
I'm not all that worried. These types of guys will be available to the Suns every summer as long as they're among the title contenders and Ishbia continues to not care about the bottom line.
Ya that’s true, but it would be nice to build some continuity. It’s nice that if Okogie breaks out and proves reliable that we’d be able to pay him next summer now. But I guess those 3(Eubanks, KBD, Watanabe) being awesome and getting bigger deals next year means they probably played well for us. I’ll gladly take one of them being out Bruce Brown.
OTHO, the Suns would be establishing a reputation as a place for guys to showcase their worth for a year and get a big raise in the next. Combining that with being on a competitive team is always going to be attractive.

Got it. I had just updated my previous post about July 6th. You could be right. Still, $11M for Ingles... Yeesh.

He's going to jingle all the way to the bank.

Nice aspect of Diop's versatility adding an element of playmaking to our frontcourt. Every little bit helps when Booker's sitting or when the 2nd unit needs more supplemental playmaking. :D

It’s not the playmaking I’m worried about. It’s the ball handling against pressure. I’m sure they have a plan though.

So if I'm reading things right, John Wall might become available? Worth a look?

With Book, Beal and Durant with him on the court I doubt he has to do a lot of dribbling.

I replied to the wrong thing. I meant ball handling from the guards. Yeah, I don’t expect KBD to do anything more than two dribbles pass or shoot.

Should we have interest in him if he's willing to come here for the vet min? Or is there possibly a bigger name we might be waiting for?

I'd love to get Beasley. But would he really want to take such a huge pay cut? Some of those other teams can pay him more.

I think only the Mavs can. Those others should be down to vet mins as well. I’d definitely take him on a vet min. He’s nothing special, but he’s a better version of Damian Lee

I'll eat my hat if Eric Gordon signs with the Suns for the vet minimum.
I’ll go a month without discussing Ayton if Eric Gordon signs elsewhere.
We want to see the video FF :P

What kind of hat will you be eating, FF? A baseball cap? A cowboy hat? Or split the difference and eat an actual Dallas cowboys cap.

If Prince wants to come here for the vet min, that would be a great get. Another couple names to keep an eye on are John Wall and Eric Gordon.
I called it 5 days ago, before he was even released by the Clippers. ;)

Dang! You guys are fast around here lol. I just left for a quick bit to take care of something, then come back to see this tweet and was about to post it. But apparently late to the party

Anyways pretty cool news as we could really use another ballhandler and floor spacer for our bench!
