It turns out it's all a Hennessy ad.

Let's see. How can I revitalize my old mistake and make it new again? Bingo!

How lame for Lebron. Who is advising him on this stuff? I bet Hennessey gave him a lot of money for him to call it "Decision 2.0" or whatever they called it.

Jordan had his share of blatant commercialism, too. I think mostly it's just a different era; I can't say with certainty that MJ would not have done some of these same things if he played in 2025. But I do strongly agree with you that Lebron is not the GOAT.

Having lived through both, I find Lebron's actions way more irksome than anything Jordan ever did.

From my morning newsletter:

Turns out LeBron’s highly anticipated “Second Decision” was just a Hennessy ad. It’s the most disappointing LeBron sequel since Space Jam: A New Legacy.

Wemby is such an amazing young player, but if he's still growing at that rate, his odds of having a long and healthy career drop. I have hope for him, because he seems like he's doing a lot of proactive work to take care of his body, like yoga and exercise and such, specifically designed to head off injuries typical for extremely tall players. But you can only fight nature so much. Knock on wood, I hope he can stay healthy and kick ass for many seasons to come.

Annual NBA GM Survey. Only a few mentions for us- a couple votes for Green being an underrated acquisition and having a breakout season, a couple of vote for best draft value in Fleming and Maluach.

Smart of them not to specify if the impact is positive or negative.
Which one player acquisition will make the biggest impact?

1. Kevin Durant, Houston – 73%

Dang, look who is completely absent from this list:
Who is the best shooting guard in the NBA?

1. Anthony Edwards, Minnesota – 70%
2. Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland – 13%
T-3. Luka Dončić, Los Angeles Lakers – 7%
T-3. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City – 7%
5. Stephen Curry, Golden State – 3%
» Last year: Anthony Edwards – 33%

Pacers had such a fun season last year but look to be in for a rough start this season.
