Philly avoids having issues in playmaking balance and put a supreme shooter next to Embiid and Lebron, while we get our Engine to pair with Ayton and the rest of the core. Call it the reverse of the Doncic/DAJ pairing if you like.

I openly wonder if he ever will. That's essentially what he says. Doncic's passing, competitiveness, and joy for the game are going to instantly transform the team he goes to. Some of your bad players start to look good. Doncic is the unmatched compared to the other prospects in this draft in terms of making his teammates better. And what I love about constructing a team around him is that opens up some many more options in terms of what sort of players can thrive on your team. So all of these small guards that lack point guard ability but can score, or shoot, or defend at an elite level are now viable options because a coach can put Doncic in the front court and start two shooting guards in the backcourt. And for the opponent, that is going to be a nightmare to defend.
