I think he got hurt at the end, but we might have been riding him too hard this past month without CP3, Cam, and Crowder. Honestly a 10 day break with a minor injury might be good for him.

Zion windmill dunks on us with 2 seconds left when they're already up 9. Fuck that shit, that's disrespectful. Then Avocado pushes Chris Paul and they start trading barbs. The two teams almost got into a brawl over it. Rivalry brewing between these teams.
Check in some scrub next game and send Zion to the floor.
Meh, suns didn’t bother to get back on D the last two possessions. Don’t think you can get mad if you are being lazy
This a BS take. The game was over. Zion was being a bitch.
Who cares what Zion does…Chris Paul was trying to score right before that. Was he being a bitch too?
So a 360 windmill dunk is the same a jumper. Oh okay. You of all people know better than that.

Finishing the game without Booker -- there's nobody able to really create if you shut down CP3-Ayton PnR
Well, Booker certainly wasn't the answer tonight when he was in there.
I think we're saying the same thing. Something fundamentally wrong with the team right now.
Yep...chemistry issues after benching Payne? Is Booker hurt? WTF?

TOs, bad entry passes to Ayton, not boxing out, second-chance points ... little things add up to a loss.
Nance Jr. plays like an All-Star against the Suns.

What is this? Baseball?! Who cares if Zion did a windmill dunk. It was a big win for them and who knows how long he'll be able to actually windmill dunk.
Don't be a bunch of babies. Play better.

To be fair, the team played a pretty good game tonight. They just couldn't overcome Booker being awful.

If DA's guarding Zion then TC or Ish need to be in there guarding Nance. If they're bigger with JV, then you gotta decide if you want to matchup big.
With who? Dario?
This has been issue since the 2021 Finals. Still waiting on Jones to address it.
Biz or Landale guarding JV with DA guarding Zion. Not for extended stretches but maybe get a few good possessions out of it. Monty's gone bigger with DA and Landale against Zion and Nance.
He did, but the wrong guys were guarding them! He had Landale on Zion instead of having DA on Zion and Landale on Nance.
SunsRIt wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 8:59 pm
We really need a POWER forward. I would love to get somebody like Larry Nance Jr. Big, strong and athletic. Even when Cam Johnson comes back we don’t have that. He’s athletic. That’s it.
This was so obvious tonight. When DA
was guarding Zion, nobody boxed out Nance. I lost track of how many times DA shut down Zion, only for the Pels to get a second chance at it.
Frustrating game all around, but glad to see Paul can still bring it occasionally at least.

I’m just saying if you don’t want him to do that, do something about it. The suns barely even crossed half court the last two possessions to get back on D. Would I want a suns player to do that? No, no need to rub it in, but I’m not gonna go start a fight over it. Just don’t be lazy if you don’t want that to happen. Get back on D or just don’t get beat in the first place.

Who's our enforcer? Chris Paul? Seriously. Do we have anyone on this team that's a physical guy that won't put up with shit? It's no wonder we go down big and can't come back against anyone.

Must win game IMHO. If the roll over again the dismantling will begin.
Sounds like it may be a must-lose then, if it's the only thing that will get JJ to act.
Be careful what you wish for Jeremy! You’re going to get a nice Charlotte DA jersey
No thanks, I only buy Suns jerseys.
One thing I can guarantee, though, is that Jones will not trade DA this season.
You can guarantee it?
Yes.

Cam Payne is really the only guy who seems willing to get in someone’s face…Crowder was that guy. I guess Damion Lee probably. Still Payne and Lee aren’t intimidating anyone. Maybe Randle isn’t a bad idea

Outside of Paul, Ayton, and Booker, the entire Suns team had zero free throw attempts tonight.
