This could go 6, but not 7. I would be very surprised if Boston can win 2 in a row, and I don't think they get one in Cleveland. So that means they win one of their home games but end up down 1-3. Even if they win one more, it's not really a close series.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:All the TV/podcast pundits are saying the Cavs will sweep the Celtics or win in 5. Am I crazy to think it will not be nearly so lopsided? I do think the Cavs win the series, but let's not forget that the first 2 games will be in Boston in front of an extremely loud pro-Celtics crowd. Does everybody really think that the Celtics will lose *both* of the games on their own home floor?
I think this series definitely goes 6-7 games and will be way more chippy and competitive than pundits are giving it credit for.
I could see Bradley and Smart causing Kyrie problems, but Crowder is no LBJ stopper, and I don't know of anyone that's a good matchup with Lebron.ShelC wrote:It's all about matchups. Crowder, Smart, Bradley, Brown can all take turns on LBJ and even Kyrie. Smart could wear Kyrie down a bit, Crowder's a great matchup against LBJ.
I will be very shocked if it makes it to game 6.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:All the TV/podcast pundits are saying the Cavs will sweep the Celtics or win in 5. I will be surprised if it makes it to game 5. I think the Cavs will win the first two in Boston. See Chicago series.Indy wrote:I will be very shocked if it makes it to game 6.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:All the TV/podcast pundits are saying the Cavs will sweep the Celtics or win in 5. I agree that the Cavs are in a different class of teams, but Chicago is an 8th seed playing without their starting pg, while Boston is the #1 seed.Superbone wrote:I will be surprised if it makes it to game 5. My point is that Chicago won the first 2 in Boston in spite of being the #8 seed.O_Gardino wrote:I agree that the Cavs are in a different class of teams, but Chicago is an 8th seed playing without their starting pg, while Boston is the #1 seed.Superbone wrote:I will be surprised if it makes it to game 5. Having 5 top 5 picks in 5 years PLUS LeBron will do that for you. It is ridiculous the riches that have been poured upon that franchise lately.carey wrote:It does suck to see the Celtics so completely outclassed by the Cavs. The C's really are the 2nd best team in the East, but they are still so far behind the Cavs it is kind of comical.
