Great news, great price, good length, great if the third year is a team option. And hopefully it paves the way into ending the Alex Len's scholarship fund. At the very least, we can now play hardball on the negotiations table. Still are thin at C, given that Chandler can at any moment get injured, or change his heart about staying here, but if we can plug in Bender as a legitimate option for major minutes at the 5, then we definitely are in no need to bring Len back. He had his four years, now is Bender's turn.

Still hoping for a Bledsoe + Chriss deal that brings KP and Noah to the dessert, for a Porzings and Bender plus Chandler and Noah/Sauce frontcourt. Knight gets deal to Brooklyn and we are just a starting caliber PG away from packing for Flagstaff or wherever they set our preseason.

Phil is gone, KP is not going anywhere.

Or Chandler potentially, depending on what kind of offers Len gets and if we could get anything for trading Chandler.
Good deal for Williams though. He's an easy guy to cheer for and seems like a great teammate.

Really good news. I'm not sure why it implies Len is gone though.

It doesnt. Nobody seems to want Len, so we'll get him back fairly cheap.

It would be interesting if we got him for less than we're paying Big Al.

Good to see him back, good contract. I'm still in favor of bringing Len back at a reasonable price on shorter deal.

Great contract for him. I think he's great for the team; he pushes the starters and guys love to play with him.

Really happy about this. He's a player I wanted to keep, and that is a totally fair price for him. $5m/yr used to be a bit of coin but now it's quite a low salary by NBA standards. We're lucky we got him for that price.

This is like getting a sixth man of the year for less than the mid-level exception. Freaking amazing.

He'll probably be forced to take a 1 year prove it deal unless he wants to take a deeply discounted multi year deal.
