Thanks for making the thread, wp. #2 in power rankings seems pretty fair to me, but hopefully back to #1 again after the Christmas day game. :-)

I find this so interesting lol cause this discussion came up last week when folks were saying they been a little disappointed so far. I honestly find myself in games also being like "Come on Landry !!" when I feel like he missed one too many looks. So to see these numbers are surprising

The same thing actually happened with Cam J too. After he scored his career high, folks were like glad to see him finally break out and what's not. Again, I had been disappointed if not a tad upset lol up until then feeling like he was missing way too many and the morning after when I checked his % in the previous six games before his 22pt game iirc he was 14 of his last 29.

So I guess we're all a bit guilty of not expecting these guys to miss much and then it seems worst than it is when they miss especially open ones

You are only as good as your last attempt.

This guy tracked every shot Booker took with a foot on the 3pt line in his entire career! Unreal! He shoots 41.6% on these shots. Significantly above his career 3pt%. Also if you just count the Monty years, he’s 29/59 for 49.2%

I just listened to the podcast. The man is doing the Lord's work.

Now he needs to find Booker's shooting percentage on the first try in a 2-for-1.

I criticized him, for sure. But he has been better the past handful of games, which is great to see. Maybe he's just needed some time to acclimate himself to the new team.

It is zero percent and we all know it.

First 5 games: 40% from 3
Next 5 games: 40% from 3
Next 5 games: 33% from 3
Next 5 games: 39% from 3
Last 3 games: 57% from 3

I guess everyone only watched those middle 5 games from Landry to decide he was not living up to expectations.

He wasn't definite about it, and hemmed and hawed before saying it. So I hope it is accurate, but not counting on it.

Here’s the reason we are tied with the Warriors despite the Warriors having double the scoring margin

I've mentioned this as one of my concerns, not as much a criticism but as something to monitor 🤐😬

I like what Cam brings. He’s averaging about 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 18 minutes per game. He’s the 6th man spark plug off the bench who is always looking to score and then set up his teammates. His shooting % is a little down this year so far. 38% compared to 48% last year.

I would've thought Shamet might be on the ball more with the 2nd unit to take some of the load off of Payne and let him just look to score for some stretches. Didn't really happen early on and now Shamet's in the starting lineup. I think Book's injury, plus no Dario and now no Frank has put a lot on Payne.

I really like him and his game and think he's playing his role. He's taking more shots and his averages are down due to a few rough shooting nights but he's a major threat off the bench and can be a real pain for other teams. He's kind of like JaVale in a way with his energy and ability to change the game's momentum, but you also don't want him doing too much for an extended amount of time.

This has absolutely been a problem for him & the team because of this, this yr.
