Game Day: Suns (54-14) @ Pelicans (28-40), Tues 3/15/22
Time: 5:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, LA
TV: BSAZ/NBATV
We owe these guys but their top two (non-fat) players are out for this one. I'm sure the Pelicans will put up more of a fight than the sad sack Lakers but I think this one is over early.

They gave us a pretty good challenge recently, but that was with their guys healthy. Without Ingram and McCollum they don't have much left. This one could get ugly.

Let’s hope ugly the right way….

Yeah Willie Green has done a very good job against us this year.

Yes CJ and BI were a handful for us to contain
What I think was just as big a factor is Willie G knows our offense and his defensive schemes tend to stifle us some. The Ingram lost on offense cannot be ignored but they have physical on ball defenders and use smart blitzing n doubling when we go to our pick n roll
Book was holding the ball too long last time
We might have adjusted since then because Jae or Mikal flashing to the free throw line is a counter we used against Raptors and Lakers so look forward to the chess match

Antonio Daniels is a really annoying TV analyst.

Book having a great game…our defense has slowed the Pels and our offense is cooking
Re: Game Day: Suns (54-14) @ Pelicans (28-40), Tues 3/15/22
Now we’re collapsing to end the half…14 point lead down to 2
Re: Game Day: Suns (54-14) @ Pelicans (28-40), Tues 3/15/22
We are getting lazy on defense…how do we give up a fastbreak off a made basket?
Re: Game Day: Suns (54-14) @ Pelicans (28-40), Tues 3/15/22
Ok…a little run to push it back to 8 at least

A game of runs, glad we pushed the lead back up at the end of the half. Beautiful execution Book to DA to Mikal on the cut for the last shot with under 10 seconds left.
Transition baskets are hurting us. We're just not stopping the ball well and they've doubled us in points in the paint.

Our pick and roll defense is getting picked apart tonight…not really sure who’s at fault. We’ve had to play up on CJ because he’s a great pull up shooter and the rolling big is killing us. Got to either have better help from the help defenders or we need to make that pass more difficult for CJ.

Good to see Craig find his 3pt shot tonight.

Bench doing a great job extending the lead…may be able to rest everyone up for tomorrow. Don’t think we need to bring Book or Ayton back in
