Kennedy lives in Phoenix and I feel like he seems to ref in the other team's favor as to not show favoritism.

Zach Zarba is widely viewed as a 'good' official by fans across the league, and I think he does a fine job as well. But I'll always remember the Suns regular season game on NBATV that highlighted the referees during the game and it felt to me like he was trying really hard to call the game by the book. The refs were mic'd up and there was bunch of extra coverage about them reviewing plays and communications at halftime. It just felt really forced and Zarba was overly performative for an referee.

Right, that was when the young female ref threw out Grizzlies head coach, Jenkins. Got her 15 minutes of fame in there. Of course, it was also the game the Grizz sat all their starters and soundly beat us.
