I am less high on the Wolves than a lot of folks seem to be. Gobert is a nice player, but I don't think a "twin towers" approach is a great strategy in today's NBA. And I have concerns about KAT's maturity and leadership. Edwards is a young star but he isn't quite ready yet IMO. I think they'll be mediocre this season, a playoff or play-in team but no more than that.
Having said that, I think they're a bad matchup for us, particularly with Ayton out. I don't see how we'll get any looks in the paint with Gobert prowling around. Do we put Bridges on Edwards?

Craig is questionable, which would be a hit to the bench. If he's out, Saric would seem like the logical move.

Go suns, you're the best, everything you do is amazing, I love you, James Jones for life, Devin Booker is so handsome, Deandre Ayton is the best center, and Monty Williams has a great beard, go best franchise go, I can't wait for you to bless my television with your presence, you're so cool.

You forgot Mikal being the best defender and Cam Johnson being the best 3pt shooter.
You're getting there tho.

Listened to the timeline podcast and didn’t realize how easy of a schedule the TWolves have had…assuming you don’t consider the Jazz or Spurs as good teams.
Their 4 wins are: Thunder X2, Spurs, and Lakers
Their 3 losses are: Spurs X2, and Jazz.
They should be 7-0

They will be 4-4 after tonight. Uh, oh. I went there. I hope I don't see this quoted after the game tonight.Split T wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:12 pmListened to the timeline podcast and didn’t realize how easy of a schedule the TWolves have had…assuming you don’t consider the Jazz or Spurs as good teams.

I’d almost play small ball against them. Playing Biyombo kinda helps them. I’d start Craig at the 5 and make KAT and Rudy both defend the perimeter. Or maybe just start Landale at least. Playing Biyombo allows Rudy to ignore his defensive assignment and just defend the rim.

Craig is questionable and might not even play. Let's hope Landale is hitting his threes tonight.Split T wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:26 pmI’d almost play small ball against them. Ya and with Ish out too, we don’t have a lot of options. Maybe we go with Saric/Landale at the 5 tonight. Probably more likely we just see Saric play some minutes at the 4 to match the size.Superbone wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:31 pmCraig is questionable and might not even play. I want to see Bridges as a roller. I am loving how suns are trying to solve for CP3 and Book getting trapped.

In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

It’s been increasing…want to see it with Booker as the ball handler as well. That does seem like teams could switch it easier, but Booker getting trapped is still in my opinion the easiest way to stifle our offense. We need to develop counters.Drewsprocket wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 1:04 pmI want to see Bridges as a roller. I am loving how suns are trying to solve for CP3 and Book getting trapped.
