Nash was another case of hiring a coach because you fell in love with the idea of a big name coaching your team.

There are countless lifetime assistant coaches who should take these kinds of hirings as an insult.

Great player, fan favorite, unqualified coach.

Maybe he was unqualified. Maybe years of playing PG at an elite level more than qualified him. Maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle. Whatever it is I don't blame Nash for the Nets issues one bit.
