The Suns visit the Western Conference leading New Orleans Pelicans Friday night. It is a battle of the best in the West. However, the Suns have been on the bad end of a nightmare the last couple of outings. Let's see if the Suns can right the ship in New Orleans as they'll have two shots at it as we do it again on Sunday afternoon.

Must win game IMHO. If the roll over again the dismantling will begin.

Suns have to play big against the Pelicans to have a chance at winning.
N.O. currently 6th in RPG. Biyombo and Saric have to play.

We’ve been a pretty good rebounding team with Craig out there.

I don't know if it's a must win but we need to see a competitive team from start to finish. The Pels are a scary team, I've kind of been actively ignoring them.

This is kind of where I'm at. I don't think we need to win this one. I just want to see signs that we are playing the right way, giving good effort, distributing the ball, getting good shots, playing active defense. If we do that but still lose, I'm okay with that. I'm more concerned with our flow and our offense and schemes than the actual W/L record. And the Pels are a stout team that would be hard to beat for anybody.

Ya I don’t think I’d consider any one regular season game a must-win. Not as long as we are staying in the top half of the playoff teams. I’d like to stay top 3 ideally, but coming into the playoffs healthy, fresh, and clicking is what matters. That and adding some more talent to the roster.

Hopefully, the team is finally understanding that playing like they didn't need help, will encourage Jones to stay put, and is actively underperforming (inside job by Monty?

) . Another more realistic scenario, is that they hit an early wall after over extending themselves to cover all the holes.

Sounds like it may be a must-lose then, if it's the only thing that will get JJ to act.

Agreed, after the Sacramento game, all the media started to say "hey, they are great as they are" and we know Jones and Monty are likely to stay put under that scenario. This team needs another big piece without losing any from Booker/Ayton/Mikal, even if it means overpaying on the deal.

You guys are funny. A must-lose game? And no, most of the media was saying we are not contenders. Nobody has been taking us seriously as contenders as presently constructed.

Be careful what you wish for Jeremy! You’re going to get a nice Charlotte DA jersey

Yeah, I wouldn't deem this a must-win. But I think there is a good chance the Suns win. They're a good team, and I think they'll want to bounce back after the last two obliterations.
But even if the Suns get blown out, it won't tell us anything we don't already know. So honestly, despite this being a matchup of the two best teams in the West, it really is just another regular season game.

No thanks, I only buy Suns jerseys.
One thing I can guarantee, though, is that Jones will not trade DA this season.

With a healthy CP3, this team actually can look pretty good.

Our offense is janky and Book doesn't have any confidence in his own offense. The ball doesn't look good leaving his hand and Daniels and Marshall both stripped him in ISO situations.
Still we're up 1 and the Pels haven't been in sync much either. The bench guys like Nance and Alvarado got it going for the them and Zion's starting to have his way with our smaller defenders. Hopefully our shooting picks up.
