Phoenix Suns: 2024 training camp dates, location, times
https://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/ ... 399534007/
The Phoenix Suns are scheduled to hold training camp Oct. 1-4, tentatively set for 10 a.m. to noon each day at the team's Verizon 5G Performance Center practice facility.

The practices are not open to the public, but fans won't have to wait long to see the team in action. The Suns play their first of five preseason games Oct. 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. They played the Lakers there last season as well.

Four of Phoenix's first five preseason games are in a eight-day span with three on the road. The Suns play Oct. 8 against Detroit at Michigan State University, Oct. 11, again versus the Pistons at Footprint Center, and Oct. 13 at Denver.

And on the other scrimmage team, we have Tyus, Monte, Brad, Grayson, Okogie.

If we can't laugh at the roster construction and the team's slender aesthetic, it's gonna be a long season.

Is Ryan Dunn sneaky good? I don't know if he'll get minutes, but I like what I see from him so far.

I certainly hope so. He had an insane number for blocks from a wing player. That could be incredible if he's not a deficit on offense.

You like what you see?

He was awful in summer league and bricked half his shots in the workout highlight. What do you like? His ass?

Nothing sneaky about it. If he can hit shots, he’s good. If he can’t, he isn’t.

If Dunn can't shoot, he's just a bigger Okogie. If he can, he'll be a very nice wing player.

At 6-8 225 tho, he's more valuable as a defender and open court threat IMO. Ant Edwards, SGA and Luka aren't going anywhere and we need long, athletic 3/4s who can make things difficult for them.

He could be 25 feet tall and if he is ass on offense he's not playable. This isn't 20 years ago.

Not just shoot either he's gotta be able to move without the ball. In summer league he looked completely lost on offense. Hope he can learn some offensive IQ. At least Okogie is great at getting to the rim and drawing fouls, moving without the ball, etc

If he can dunk from the three point line, I think he'd be fine.

Also, if he can put a stop to human trafficking, I think he will also be fine.

We're gonna make zero offense players fashionable again. Bring it back to 2003.

This conversation is making me miss Mark Eaton.
