Mori asked for it, so here it is. Lets set some rules. Each person can make 10 picks(5 in the west and 5 in the east). In addition, you have to choose 2 locks per conference that count as double. We'll track it and see who wins at the end of the season. Scoring is simple, -2 for a lock that you miss, -1 for a miss, 1 for getting it right, 2 for getting a lock right. We will use the fan duel win totals as of today 10/19. I'll post them below and I'll keep track throughout the year. Submit your picks before the start of the regular season. You can update your picks up until tip off on opening night. Here we go:

Overall I think a lot of the old guard of good teams are going to fall this season, like the Warriors, Lakers, Sixers, Bucks. These younger and hungrier teams like OKC, Minny, Cleveland, Indiana, etc. are going to run wild this year. I also really like this is a comeback year for the Grizzlies with Ja and Edey, but I couldn't get there with that 46.5 line. I didn't list our Suns to avoid bad karma, but I think we'll go "over" as well and have a strong season.

Man, I really struggled with the East. I feel strongly that the Suns will outperform last season. In fact, as soon as I post this, I'm going to go bet that one for real.

Paul George I can understand. Joel Embiid I believe has an arthritic problem that will last for the rest of his career.

Just checking in on my picks for the over/unders so far. I like all of my West picks except maybe the Warriors, who look better than I had predicted. In the East I love my Philly pick (hah) and my Cleveland pick (should have made that one a lock). Looks like I'm likely wrong about the Pacers. Unclear on the Bucks, who have had some struggles but look much better in their past few games.
