Without Chet and Hartenstein they have decided to literally not play a center last couple games so even if Nurk available Bud probably not playing him much

They "start" their emerging star Jalen Williams at center who is listed at 6'5.....

Always a question of whether we play our bigs and try to own the paint and the glass or try and go small to matchup? Nurk might get run off the floor Plumlee could work as a more athletic big who can rebound and play over the top. Same with Oso. Or we could matchup with Dunn and Royce at the 5? Don't want to play into their hands too much tho....

IMO Nurk plays great against smaller players. If he plays, he'll get 18 and 15.

But what I really want to see is more Oso + Morris.

The Thunder are also banged up, missing both Chet and Hartenstein. They are playing super small lately. I think they are more vulnerable than usual, so I'm not going to assume this is an L. We mostly stunk against the Kings, but I think we can do better and will get used to our limited roster.

Why the fuck Booker is starting the plays for Tyus Jones to shoot? Should be the other way around!

We look very bad so far in this one - short handed and out matched. We are very easy to scout for when as this version - pressure Book, make someone else beat you and feast on the turnovers. We just don’t have the weapons to do anything about it

Book with a fat Zero. What a superstar.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Nurk is god aweful. If he’s hurt then his ass needs to sit. But if this is it then I guess we are trading 31 to get him off the team. Sad.

He’s being guarded by 3 players and no one is stepping up besides Okogie. Nurk shooting 4 fts, layup and a 3 and he has 1 point.

Idk what you all expect. If no one is going to hit an open shot, teams are gonna keep suffocating Book with multiple players.

We are just too injured.

Turning this one off, maybe I'll check back in an hour. One of the worst games I've seen in recent memory. Injuries or not, we're just getting outworked. And apparently Book is the only player ever to get double teamed because we never have an answer for it.

That is not to say he isn’t playing terrible, of course he needs to be better but when missing so many players, and everyone missing every shot. This isn’t exactly a surprising outcome.
