Beal? He's been relatively healthy this season. Shame he'll miss a game.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

It's actually good that Nurkic is out.
I like Oso for this game

Seems like we found out what's up with Grazin' Allen, he's only good as a starter.
Love, Hurts.

Oof, bad start to the 3rd quarter, instant timeout.
Re: Game Day: Suns (10-8) v. Warriors (12-6), Sat 11/30
I know Curry didn’t hit anything in the 1st half, but giving him wide open 3s is not a great idea
Re: Game Day: Suns (10-8) v. Warriors (12-6), Sat 11/30
Plumlee continues to double Curry after Booker clearly recovered and let Looney run all by himself to the rim for an uncontested dunk. Has to have more awareness than that.

Suns win! Suns win!
What happened to the rest of the thread? It just peters out in the 3rd quarter. (Suns joke here.)

Solid win, really good first half on both sides of the ball followed by more of a lackluster second half. First half we were whipping the ball around, knocking down 3s, guys were moving off the ball and we were really active defensively. Then we came out after halftime flat, had some miscommunications that let the Ws back into it and let guys like Curry and Hield get going. We started settling for 3s, running more ISOs and holding the ball longer during possessions which took us out of rhythm. 4th quarter was better as we were able to pull away again but then we slowed the game down the last 5 minutes or so trying to drain some clock and almost blew the lead. I hate teams that play not to lose and that's exactly what we were doing. Ws pressed up, we turned the ball over due to pressure, caught an 8 second backcourt violations, bad shots due to an expiring shotclock which led to long rebounds and easy baskets. We were up 17 with 4 1/2 minutes left which they cut down to a 6pt lead with 1:30. Dangerous game to play, especially with a guy like Curry on the court. Hopefully we learn from this and stay aggressive for 48 minutes.
Really liked how our 2nd unit look. Monte, Dunn, Oso brought a lot of energy and were sharp on both sides of the floor. Oso was a really good matchup in the frontcourt against this team. 30minutes as the 5 (to Plumlee's 16), nice impact defensively, is a lob threat teams need to account for and keeps the ball moving well within the flow on the offense. Monte seems to just make plays, is more aggressive as a ballhandler and plays with more juice than Tyus. Tyus is steady and hit a lot of shots but Monte gives us a more physical presence in the backcourt. Dunn was active defensively and on the boards, a lot more impactful than the boxscore would tell you (4-4-2-2). Royce and Allen 6-10 combined from 3 so good to see them back on track. Allen's been driving to the basket more than usual with mixed results but good to see him getting downhill. Still no midrange pullup and if he's driving the lane, there's not a lot of creativity - he's a straight line driver right to the basket.
Without harping too much on it, I think less is more. We might be better leaning into our depth and our roleplayers - who are really good - than being so top heavy. But Beal and Nurk are coming back and we'll have to get them their minutes and cut down on guys like Monte, Dunn and Oso.

You can really feel the gravitational pull the stars have and the effect that has on the roleplayers. Guys like Royce play much better when they have Book and KD drawing all the defenders to them, so that the role players can just wait for a pass and an open 3. Lately Oso has been a real treat to watch; every game he's just hustling and making good decisions and being in the right place. Really like him.

Oso is going to be starting by the end of the season if he's still on our roster

So what happened to Dunn? Everyone was hyping him for ROY and he seems to have fallen off.

His shot has regressed down significantly but he's finding other ways to make an impact. He was a +8 in 20 minutes and was tremendous on D

The shot has fallen off a bit, but he was great on defense last night.

Yep, still very happy with Dunn. He makes an impact out there.
