That Wemby story is a gross, nobody wants to watch a 7'5" guy jack up 9 3s a game man.
Love, Hurts.

It's good for his opponents though. If that guy ever figures out he can dominate inside, it's all over for everybody else.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

That would be great. I’m sure Manute’s kids would love to have him back.

Wemby’s family might be less happy about it.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I don't think I've ever seen a player get away with so much as Green. Certainly nobody looking as ugly and dumb hahah. Maybe Bowen. And I guess Laimbeer.

Doug Christie taking over the team. Never been a fan of Brown, at least not as a head coach. Definitely felt like he wasn't getting thru to the team anymore with how they lost some games this year. I don't think they're a great team, but they should be better. Maybe they can pull it together, if not it's probably time to blow up the roster.

Sucks to be fired so soon after winning CotY, but Brown imo has always been a chump coach who has been lucky / savvy enough to be in the right place at the right time in his career. I have never thought he was a great head coach; maybe he's good as an assistant, because he gets on well with some truly great coaches like Kerr and Pop. He'll probably land somewhere soon as a top assistant.

Exactly. He's never come across as anything but pompous in his press conferences/media sessions. That's gotta rub some players the wrong way. Even this year after some games he was acting like a clown, almost for attention. Probably better as an assistant.

The other thing that's been mentioned about all the COTY winners who have been fired a year later is that COTY usually goes to someone whose team overachieves. So once the expectations rise and the team can't play up to them, the coach gets fired. I think the only coach who's won COTY in the last 6-7 years and hasn't been fired is Thibs.

So Doug Christies's wife is coaching the Kings now? Is that how it works?
