I went to game 2 of the 2021 NBA Finals with my brother. What a time to be there. Up 2-0 on the Bucks. This is our year! We are finally going to win a NBA championship! Speaking of getting one's heart torn out, back in San Diego, watching game 4 from the comfort of my then home, I watch as we go back and forth in the fourth quarter only to lose in a tightly contested battle and have the series tied back up. Heart pain ensues and a couple hours later I am in the hospital after enjoying my first ever ambulance ride, having a heart attack and getting a stent placed in my left anterior descending artery, AKA, the widow maker. Good times!

Better than ever! I used the event as a wake up call and have since gotten into great shape and dropped all the extra pounds. I had been to other games through my work or one of our vendors but that was the one and only game I was able to take MEE to. Her favorite player was always Dan. It was hard to get her out of the house and we had to plan and hope that her health didn't flare up to make it so we couldn't go.
