I don't really like the choices. I'm on record as saying, go to him this offseason and tell him you are going to rebuild and trade KD; ask him what he wants to do. If Book asks out, trade him. If he wants to stay and lead us to the new era, keep him. Given the choices I said "No, wait at least another year before reevaluating" but that doesn't quite capture it.

I’d be cool with trading him…but it doesn’t make a lot of sense this summer if we don’t get our 2026 pick…so I voted reevaluate in a year.

So I voted we keep him forever, even if it's best from a hypothetical business perspective to cash in and hope what the Suns get in return may surpass him, there is no guarantee. So keep him til he retires and ends up in the ring of honor and possibly the HOF.

At the right price anyone should be available.

Not in a hurry at all, but it’s also not off the table in the future. At least an attempt to rework the roster without KD and Beal.
