Kuminga with 17/8/5 late in the 3rd…4/6 from 3. Maybe he was a good target.

That first game is a pretty good way to start the season.

If I were in the Phoenix area, this'd be a good year to buy season tickets.

Great 1st game of the season with the Rockets and Thunder. Sengun looked phenomenal but he was also being guarded by Caruso for a while which was questionable IMO. KD was KD but the biggest takeaway seemed to be the lack of shooting/spacing and depth on Houston. Their main bench guys were Tari, Reed, and Okogie which is....not great.

Outside of Reaves, the Lakers don't seem to have much in the way of role players around Luka.

I would take Eason and a late first for Grayson and a second. Although I guess the salaries don’t match up.

I was thinking about something like that but Tari looked rough. They need some shooting for sure tho. I think Royce might work salary wise but that'd be a tough sell.

Yeah at this point they have plenty of blue collar guys. They need pure shooters who are complete cones on defense more than defenders who can hit a few shots when they are on a heater I guess.

I don't know how long that jumbo starting lineup will last. They might be better served putting Reed in the SL just for his shooting, or at least to have a threat out there. Redd, Amen, KD, Jabari and Sengun helps the spacing but still doesn't help the bench at all. Maybe DFS helps when he comes back but I wouldn't want to pin my hopes on him if I were a Rockets fan.

I enjoyed watching KD dribble that ball off his foot and go into the backcourt last night.

I saw that one too and thought ‘well at least we don’t have to endure that every night now!’

I was texting a Rockets fan friend of mine. I told him, "Watch, down the stretch your team will dump the ball to KD, who will either try to dribble drive and get stripped / lose the ball, or he will try to pass it off and get his pass picked off." And both of those things happened, and they lost. Enjoy the KD experience, Houston!

I saw he was racking up the TO when I was tracking the stats online during the game. So glad to know he hasn't changed.
