If they are spreading the news via those platforms, including YT (or social media platforms based in other countries), the main company is protected. They've offered, but they are MIA right now for whatever reason. Of course, they will send 27 agents to look at a pull down loop out of a NASCAR garage(You got to have your priorities). Occasionally, the FBI has reached out someone like Matt Braynard on what he's had and been given the info.
You think that 1000s of mail in ballots without a crease/fold in batches, all for Biden only is legit?

There's no legal accountability for actual news publishers publishing this kind of thing, just a loss of credibility. It only creates a tort if they defame somebody (malicious accusations against someone specific). Crazy conspiracy theories about a vaguely defined "them" aren't actionable.Indy wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 1:04 pmIf they are spreading the news via those platforms, including YT (or social media platforms based in other countries), the main company is protected. You don't think that claims dereliction of duty against the AG don't open themselves up for a defamation suit? I agree if they are generic assaults like Fox News does, but some of the other fringe "news" folks are saying much worse. Also, claiming specific poll workers, by name, are falsifying election results certainly opens themselves up for it.Cap wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 1:45 pmThere's no legal accountability for actual news publishers publishing this kind of thing, just a loss of credibility. How do you debunk, just off the top of my head, him having an affair with a porn star while married? Or his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein at one time? His references regarding China when it comes to Covid-19 aren't at all racist In2ition? I don't have enough time in the day to start listing his transgressions. I'm at a loss trying to figure out how you believe him to be a good person besides the fact that you think he was a good POTUS.

And if you don't see the racism and sexism and xenophobia in his statements and actions, you might want to look in the mirror. All of us have some level of these, as it is a spectrum. But not seeing Trump as on the far end of this spectrum means you might be further towards that side than you think.

I'm not going to defend every action of his. Like I wouldn't defend JFK or Clinton for their actions either. He did know Epstein, but I don't know if he knew about Epstein. It isn't a pot shot, or a personal attack. And it isn't arrogance. Anyone that supports a clear racist is, at the very least, OK with some racism. Anyone that supports a sexist is, at the very least, OK with some sexism. Same with xenophobia. Or lying. Or paying people off to be quiet about misdeeds.In2ition wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 3:17 pmThis comes off as a personal attack on me. You want a piece of me Indy? I am fine defending the logic of these statements. If you take that as a personal attack, that is on you.
I have plenty of people in my family that supported/support Trump. And I have said the exact same thing to them. Some take offense, some don't. The most racist/sexist/xenophobes are the ones that don't really argue or try to defend it. The ones that pretend they are not that way are the first to get offended and upset.
You either know who you are or you don't. If you are a blonde and I call you a brunette, you don't get upset and say it is a personal attack. You laugh and point at me and say I am clearly wrong. If you are a blonde and I call you a blonde, you say yeah, what's your point. I guess we can argue about where blonde turns into brunette, and what that spectrum looks like, but there is definitely a spectrum and we are not always the best judge about where we sit on it. That goes for all of us.
