He's literally Klay. That's a steal

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
Stupid question... If he's the best shooter for the last 2 years, why did he fall so low in the draft?
I saw GSW fans pissed about trading the pick and most wanted him because of his Klay-like game.
Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
He's "just" a shooter. Doesn't do much else, not great defensively, short arms (6-5 wingspan). Klay was a great defender, Koby not so much.

Envisioning them at their best; honestly this is a scary unit. Oso as the defacto "pg"Wally_West wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 11:06 pmPhoenix Suns….Summer league champs?

That's the "system"'s job bro. And I think Oso's "hub" was underutilized as a rookie. I really expect great things from him(and Dunn) this year. He's going to be our DraymondFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 11:46 pmI'm excited about those guys, but that lineup is a disaster.
Gotta have someone who will at least pretend to organize the offense and set up other guys.

If I had to guess it’ll look something like this:
Summer league PG-Brea-Dunn-Fleming-Maluach
With Oso off the bench?
Or maybe have Dunn as the SG and Fleming as a SF with Oso and Maluach as the bigs and Brea off the bench. There’s some nice line up versatility for a summer league roster. I wonder if Ott will coach even.
THANK YOU! You see the same vision as me. The offense basically runs thru the "hub" at the ft line, instead of a P/R.

I don't follow college; but I would assume that's its because of his perceived "specialist" niche.
But an ELITE talent can never be ignored

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
Glad that you see it, too. Dunkers in the low post. shooters out on the perimeter, Oso at the high post. If they dare him to shoot, either do so or go in for a short drive and shoot a floater.Bucktastic365 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 9:35 amTHANK YOU! You see the same vision as me. Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
Oso DEFINITELY needs to up his own offense tho. He's got to be a threat to score for the other 4 to have any purpose
Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
Pre injury Klay was a defensive menace with a much longer wingspan, better athlete, could get his own shot. Brea is none of those things and has a negative wingspan. He's much more of just a role playing sniper like Hauser or Duncan Robinson.Bucktastic365 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 9:45 amDescribe the difference. All I ever see Klay do is what's in his highlights
Love, Hurts.
Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
He has a negative wingspan? like his left arm comes out of his right shoulder, or something?
Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
Hey Desmond Bane measured 6-5 with a 6-4 wingspan.
Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
And if he just becomes another Hauser or Robinson, that's perfectly fine for a mid 2nd round pick.TOO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 10:21 amPre injury Klay was a defensive menace with a much longer wingspan, better athlete, could get his own shot. Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2
Ha. Yeah, it's a funny term. I guess it just means that the wingspan is shorter than his height. Unlike Rasheer Flemming whose arms are like 7 inches longer than his height (which is insane.)

Then WW's original lineup works and has some size.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 3:04 amRun the offense through Oso, effectively use him as an oversized PG. Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I'm talking now. Klay is nothing more than a catch and shoot/ catch, fake, and shoot guy with whatever defense.TOO wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 10:21 amPre injury Klay was a defensive menace with a much longer wingspan, better athlete, could get his own shot. Brea can do more than that NOW
