Zero chance NHD plays in the Summer League.
I'm not sure Gillespie will either, but I wouldn;t say there's zero chance on either of them.

Re: 2025 NBA Free Agency

With Lopez as a UFA, Milwaukee might be interested in Richards. They have a $7 million trade exception and could just send second rounders to us in return. The only teams with exceptions big enough to take on Grayson Allen's contract ($16.875 million) are Atlanta ($25 million exception), Brooklyn ...

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

Beal could probably recoup the $10-15 million a year signing with another team, so I could see him giving up to $20 million if he really decides leaving is for the best. More than that is probably a pipe dream.

Re: 2025 Summer Suns

Looks like Khalif Battle has been signed. 6th(!) year Senior who played at Butler, Temple, Arkansas and finished at Gonzaga. 6-5 180lb combo guard, noted for his defense and athleticism but streaky shooter. Kind of like Jalen Green but with defense? https://www.babcockhoops.com/post/2025-nba-draft ...

I think Boston would have replaced them as the poster child if Tatum hadn't gotten hurt.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

If you can attach O'Neale to Richards in a deal for a PF who could start and play 20+ non-shitty minutes a game that'd be a big win. That's a nice idea, but we are currently still over the 2nd apron, so we cannot combine players in trades. Yes, this would be contingent on getting the Beal situation ...

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

Here's what the Beal situation boils down to - If you try to trade him - PRO - You get something in return and this team has holes to fill CON - You're still in salary cap hell and he has the right to veto any trade If you waive and stretch him - PRO - You get under the apron and have some cap ...

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

Teams with cap space (namely Brooklyn) can put the screws to teams looking to save money. And the Suns don't have the picks neccessary to tempt them to make a deal.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

The Beal situation is almost totally on the front office. They knew what kind of contract he had and his injury history when they traded for him. There's been some bad luck involved when it comes to his health, but look how it is with the Diamondbacks right now - those things happen.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News

I don't know why he's listing Green, Brooks or Brea like they're so much bigger than we currently have on the wing. And I don't know....I kind of like Richards and think it'd be smart to keep him around. Great size and athleticism, would be a really solid backup for us if Maluach isn't ready and he ...

I wonder who's coaching? Ott hasn't named his staff yet, right? Although we heard of at least one assistant. The former player, can't recall who it was.
DeMarre Carroll was the former player named as assistant coach.

I’d take cp3 again given our current need for a leader and think he’s good for young guys.
If he was willing to come back to play 15-20 minutes a night for the vetreran's minimum, sure.

Re: 2025 NBA Draft Round 2

Brea is supposedly the best shooter in the draft and moves well without the ball, but doesn't do a lot else. He's got good size, but he's not a great athlete, and doesn't really create his own shot and will have to improve his defense. He's likely going to be a two-way contract with hope that ...
