Part of me wonders if Ott can find a way to utilize him correctly. He more than the other 2 tried to fit in as best as he could, his body is just made of trash.

Love, Hurts.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Man, not sure how they get out of the Beal situation. I don't blame him for not wanting to move his family. Maybe he just plays out his contract here. The Suns have nobody to blame but themselves. That was a good rundown on the latest on the situation. Thanks, Split.

Might be our only hope. If he can stay healthy (probably not), he might be able to help us off the bench. No way he starts, right? No room for him with Book and Green.

I’m too scared to look at the comments.

Notice they made sure not to tag him.

I like how the #1 picture they show of him is in street clothes, LOL.

The “Osama Beal Laden” memes and people calling him a terrorist are getting out of hand. Why does our fanbase have to be so mean and hateful?? The Beal hate is getting worse than the Hayton!

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I'm with you, man. If you want to be angry, direct it to the Suns. Beal is just living his best life and god forbid, he likes it here! And his contract allows him to do what he wants and the Suns knew that.

Beal's been a bad fit here. But to be mad at Beal himself is stupid. He sacrificed the most of the "Big 3" in terms of his role, his fit, the way he plays. He tried to be a facilitator, he tried to focus more on defense. He even agreed to come off the bench without making much fuss. He got injured some, but he wasn't totally made of glass as some people have said.
If you're mad about Brad Beal, be mad at the people in the front office who traded for him, and the coach who probably didn't get the best out of him. Beal himself has been a good soldier. I really can't blame him for not wanting to agree to a trade that moves his whole family and takes his kids out of school. He likes it here. Is that such a bad thing? How many of you would agree to let your employer forcibly move your family to another city, if you had the ability to block them? How many of you would agree to give away $20m+ to let your employer pay you to go away? We seem to view these guys as objects, as assets, not as real human beings making decisions that affect their lives and their wives' and children's lives.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
The Beal situation is almost totally on the front office. They knew what kind of contract he had and his injury history when they traded for him. There's been some bad luck involved when it comes to his health, but look how it is with the Diamondbacks right now - those things happen.

Agreed to a point. The difference is that in the NBA the business model is that players can and will be traded regardless of their wishes. It is expected. Of course teams can try to accommodate a player's wishes but it isn't required. On the other hand Beal "earned" his NTC so he is in a unique position and the Suns knew that when they traded for him.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sat Jun 28, 2025 12:35 pmBeal's been a bad fit here. Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Based on what Gambo is reporting, here’s our depth chart:
PG: Booker/Gillespie/TBD
SG: Green/Allen/TBD
SF: Brooks/O’Neale/TBD
PF: Dunn/Fleming/TBD
C: Williams/Maluach/Oso or Richards
2-Ways: Brea/Huntley/TBD
He said he expects Green, Grayson, and Royce all to be here. One of Oso or Richards will be gone. Still expects Beal to be gone and expects Martin gone before Monday.
I think we need a starting PF as I’d bring Dunn off the bench. I’d also prefer Green off the bench and a pg next to Booker, but that doesn’t seem likely. I don’t really agree with keeping Grayson and Royce, but we’ll see. They can both be useful. Bare minimum we need another 4 though. And a backup PG.

Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
Getting rid of Oso would be pointless.
Re: 2025 Suns Offeason News
I guess it depends on how it happens…if it’s what gets someone to take Beal? Maybe you do it…does someone give us a young playable F for him? Maybe you do.
I agree in a vacuum though that I’d get rid of Richards. Sure, Richards can step in for Williams more effectively right now, but I don’t care about right now that much. Trade Richards for however many 2nds you can get and let Oso be the 3rd C

On a team I love. I don't care about what's best for him. I'm not going to cuss and threaten him at games, but I hate him for what he's done to my team. This is an entertainment business.

Teams with cap space (namely Brooklyn) can put the screws to teams looking to save money. And the Suns don't have the picks neccessary to tempt them to make a deal.
