Knicks supposedly shopping #33. I’d snatch that up and see if Terry or Bane drops.
YES! But what could you give up??

This is why you don't give up assets to trade a player you can just stretch.

Most everyone was singing his praises since the Chris Paul trade, but now that he didn't pick the player they wanted he sucks??
Let the dust settle. Everybody loves Cam Johnson now.
But I don't think he was the best player available at 11.
He might have been for this team and their plans.
Just because there were better options at 11 doesn’t change the fact that Cam was a solid pick. He worked out. That’s lot better then eating shit on two 4th overall picks and and trading up to 8 and eating shit again. Maybe James Jones draft picks aren’t wowzers but if they are solid then I’ll be happy. My hope for Jalen is that he’s good role player and that’s fine.
I agree. I am not complaining about last year's draft because I am used being served a literal shit sandwich for drafts and being forced to find the subtle undertones of umami and notes of sweetness. So when you get a draft that works out, you don't complain about not taking the best option.

I think I get it...we have to have balance ..good on the Paul trade, now it was time to inspire mass delusion by picking Jalen 'Who the hell is he?' Smith with Haliburton still on the boards...🤯

Will the Suns get a F from INF? ;)

Jalen Smith was a guy he liked I believe.
last time he gave a huge F, it should have been even bigger. And nearly everyone here at the time called him nuts and a pessimist.
Didn’t he give last year’s draft a F? Looking back, I think we can call that one a solid B.
Like half of us had it as a D or F.

Give me a break. And which player exactly would they have drafted that would have put them over .500?
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Yeah, no F this year. Jalen Smith is solid. I think people need to realize, though, that he isn't a power forward.

I get being upset about passing on Haliburton. But I think Jones has proven he prefers likely mediocrity over possible greatness.

With Haliburton, I think there legitimate red flags. I don't know if he'll be able to stay healthy with his frame. He also disappeared in conference play, and too many times he seems content to be a wallflower instead of making things happen.

I was disappointed Toppin didn't fall to us, but I knew him getting past NY was a longshot.

I'm actually more bummed than I thought I would be that we didn't get Bane.
